Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

What we get from Andi and Chris' 1on 1 date??? What clues on the date gave you impression that Chris is F1? Inquiring minds want to know.

JBF, interesting take. I disagree about Josh and him being front and center too early to be F1. Some people I work with that are watching "unspoiled," don't even know him and ask, "which one is Josh?" Nick is very front and center (at least more than Josh) and they all know Chris and Marcus.

We still need to see the other dates, including Marcus. BUT... you can check my earlier post listing all four guys as possible f1 prospects.

Actually Marcus, not Josh, was the center of her focus on the group date.

I'm curious as well. I found the whole date rather tongue-in-cheek.  

When he leaves the room the guys are in he says something like "time to put lipstick on this pig" (would have liked to see more of his humor on the date but it was very low key in that department).

The dark horse won.  They or she bet on the dark horse. Was it number 8?  Not sure which. But he said he already won just being on the date so it sounds more like being in the race was enough. She had her eye on the horses near the finish but he had to tell her her horse won.

It was throwback themed date ... homage paid to the past. Neither of them dressed as they would in real life so that gave it a staged feel even though I thought she looked her best on that date.   Chris talked about breaking off a past engagement and how retrospectively he shouldn't have proposed. The older couple talked about their past and having met at a ball game however they also said, I think, 3 years later they married so they certainly didn't rush even though they talked about knowing they were a match.  Perhaps that does tie into winning by just being on the date.
During the dance portion their were 10s across the scoreboard but it just seemed like a nice first date, not necessarily romantic but good. Too early for a 10.  They don't even know each other however he praised qualities of hers that seemed to indicate he started crushing on the "show" Andi before signing up. Not the same as meeting for the first time and basing your feelings on that impression.

All this suggests that Chris is there for the long haul but is not a dark horse.  He will, however, be instrumental in giving her some insight she requires to recognize a dark horse as being a winning choice.

Or, this show isn't nearly that complicated.  She just straight up has a guy she wants and the rest is just filler.  

I will let others comment. Commented enough already in past posts. Gets kinda exhausting... only because each of us wind up re-explaining ourselves as to why we think Person A fits the edit, body language, etc. All of us see different things in this show.

It could be that she just straight up has a guy she wants and the rest is just filler... or not. The editors certainly won't allow us to THINK that even if it is true.

... Or not seems to me the case at this point in the show's filming but I really like your analysis of the editing. Very thought-provoking so please do continue.

I guess I mixed up your pro and con list. I forgot to mention that you thought it was a con that Josh was kissing to early to be final 1. Remember JP?? He fell hard and fast and JP and Ashley kissed in the second episode too. Correlation? I believe so.    I LOVED JP from the start btw! Ashley and JP are one of my favorites from this silly show.

But we must remember JP got a date in the third episode after all the drama.

Didn't I list it as a "pro"? Ha ha! I am not completely against Josh being F1, just because I suspect he isn't. Then again, my suggestion of the kiss being "hot" is a bit exaggerated since they did it in a door way much as Emily and Arie did in an early episode. I was trying to come up with as many "pros" for each as possible. The one I am least confident with is Nick.

So Marcus is in the middle (more than Nick) with Chris in the front and Josh in the back.  Hmmmmm.......very interesting. ETA: I may need to change my comment depending on which Nick is in the F4. Is it Nick V or Nick S?
