Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

Actually the whole Andrew drama reminded me of James' situation last season. All about what-he-did-or-didn't-do-with-a-few-of-us-present. Already the prospect of Men Tell All gives me another head ache.

Josh took the role of Mike G as prosecutor. I dunno... Everybody here sees this Great Love Story between Josh and Andi... and I am sure it is a Great Love Story. Yet I just see him as a very funny guy who gets caught up in everybody's business.

Nick is a romantic, but he is also competitive. You just know those flowers HAD to interrupt Eric's time. It wasn't an unfortunate coincidence with Nick shown saying later "Gee, I am sorry what happened, Eric. I didn't realize the bad timing."

         To me there really is a pattern of the first being countered by something similar.  Brings to mind the initial poster for the show where Juan is crossed out and replace by one.

Chris told her horse won.  She didn't seem very excited.
Chris says it doesn't matter if his horse didn't win, he won just by being on the date

Basketball date
Brian's half-court shot was preceded by him asking "what will he get if he makes it" and he gets the rose as MVP ,on and off the court, later that night.
They are in a casino.

Andy has used the word "lucky" several times.

For me the 10-15 minutes comment with Chris Harrison is the #1 obstacle that the Josh and Nick fans must get around... like Juan saying in his promo that he saw his daughter's future with Nikki, an obstacle those of us speculating Clare were not able to get around. Both Marcus and Chris were edited within the 10-15 mark, but Chris is the only one who made it in "real time". Add to that the number of times the word "husband" is spoken "around" Chris. Nick got a nebulous use of "engagement" in episode #2, but Chris is repeatedly getting both the H-word and W-word ("might become your wife" per Harrison). All tomfoolery in that she is NOT seeking a "husband"? Also... Marcus has used the word "wife" himself.

Did Chris make it in real time if he was first out of the limo?

I'm a fan of Nick but I think he leaves at either F2 or F3 or even F4 with him still thinking that Josh was the main contender. I just can't see Nick ever wanting to propose given his scepticism of "the process" which I think he acquired once seeing how the machine worked. In other words, your saying that could be his obstacle makes a lot of sense. So production "obstacle" fail for him.
The "might become your wife" per Harrison could indicate that Chris was the producers top pick as someone different from her usual type.
Both Marcus and Chris being associated with the "wife" word could mean they are, in fact, the final 2. (Wouldn't that be a fun twist). Chris getting the H-word could mean his obstacle is seeing himself as her husband but so far we aren't seeing him.

Think she was attracted to very few of the guys and sometimes did a very poor job of trying to hide it. She often looks either bored or overly enthusiastic to me. She's starting to relax and I can see more easy friend-zone interactions.

Once Josh's 1-1 airs there should be more voice overs or statements about him for comparison.

I guess we'll see if she wants a husband. Can't really see the show ended without a proposal... even if it is only for a minute.

Just trying to wrap my head around the bolded easter egg. JBF, are you saying this comment by Chris was NOT done in real time with Andi just before the guys arrived? Was it a VO?

If not, then how would TPTB know who Andi would pick even before she met the guys?

That's OK. I will say it again. I am not sure of WHAT kind of outcome we are getting. Josh and Nick are getting quirky edits and Marcus is the "flawless" F2 in what I am seeing. Like I told you before, Litta, I will not "push" Chris on anybody here because... good grief!... I do not have a crystal ball! I am not accurate every season. Certain not LAST season!

My question is this: Is she doing this show for publicity? Or is she like Trista, eager to tie the knot at some point? Maybe she only wants a boyfriend for now and see what develops later. I really don't know what the editors are up to.

From the Easter Egg stash... it looks like we have five uses of the H-word tied with a contestant (i.e. not just spoken in a generalized interview with just Andi footage)...

1.) Episode #1: "Some guy is going to get out of the limo and that can be my husband. My heart is just pounding. This is the beginning…” The very next shot is a limo in the dark followed by Chris’ face (then Nick) as other guys are talking. Technically this gives both Chris and Nick the chance to be "husband" yet Chris is still the FIRST shown.

2.) Mister Harrison: What are you so nervous about?
Andi: The thought that my husband could be in one of those limos and the fact that I could be meeting him in the next ten or fifteen minutes is just crazy.
Harrison: It is crazy to think.
Andi: I know.
Again... the first two guys Marcus and Chris make this mark per The Edit. (In reality, Chris was first out and Marcus was #13.)

3.) Her “I think I can find my husband in here” straddles over Chris, Steven, Carl and Cody seated together. Two of these guys are gone already and I don't have high hopes for Cody. Sorry, Cody fans. The editors are smooth to keep the H-word restricted to Andi shown speaking though.

4.) Episode #2: "One of these men can be my husband" is followed by Chris as the first guy talking at the mansion, saying “I can’t believe this is happening”.

5.) When addressing the guys, Mister Harrison says: “she might become your wife…” as the camera stops at Brett, Craig and a slightly hidden Chris seated. Two of these guys are now gone. One left.

Although these moments don't use the H-word, they still have me curious... and are on that silly list of mine...

1.) Chris Bukowski being told by the handler (I forget his name off hand) "I have to see Chris" (a.k.a. Harrison) as the cameraman zooms in on the security guard's "number one", followed by Chris asking if HE can see Chris followed by a closer view of the security guard's badge. This reminds me of a Harrison interview last year when he was asked who "wins" Desiree's season and he winks at the camera "I do." Well... Harrison didn't, but Siegfried did.

2.) Andi responds to the older couple “I think I picked a winner”. Chris says: “I’m definitely a winner right now, To be here, I won.” I don't think they would have left that it in the edit if he was a dumpee. C'mon folks! You know something is "up".

3.) When Tasos reads the group date card for Magic Mike, which Chris did not attend, the words "last one" is spoken over Chris.

4.) When Marquel reads the group date card for Boys II Men... another date Chris doesn't attend, the words "Last but not least, gentlemen" is spoken again over Chris.

5.) Both Marcus and Josh get "ruled out" because they attended the Boys II Men date (in which she labels them all "my boys" and asks the audience if they think they are "cute"). She then sings to the camera instead of them, saying "I’ll close my eyes. I’ll make a wish. I’m gonna concentrate on YOU. Tonight is your night." So... this means she was singing to Chris, Nick, Dylan or JJ watching on TV instead. Also the BoysII Men fellows added more salt to the wound by joking: "If this is any indication of who she’s gonna choose, you won’t have one on this show. She should just leave by herself."

It is "stuff" like this that has me stuck on Chris as F1. Nobody else is "fitting" right now apart from JJ and I really don't have high hopes for him. Yet he was edited in those first 15 minutes too... and he did "grow old" with her.

I still believe Eric's death jump-starts the Andi/Chris relationship like a rocketship... ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. In any case, we are not SEEING a "relationship" at all on screen between them apart from Santa Anita. The editors want casual viewers to not notice anything going on... is she giggling up a storm with him?... or are they simply talking tractors?... at least until she has her meltdown later and you-know-who is the one who "fixes" her. Just like he was the one getting Dylan to tell his sad sad story to her.

JBF, push away. It doesn't bother me at all...makes it interesting and entertaining to hear all theories. I am still on the fence as to who is F1. I'm still waiting to be convinced one way or another...and if it's Chris, I'll be happy for you that you saw it all along. I'm just being honest that I can't see "it" right now. Hopefully, you can take my falling asleep on their date as a friendly jest -- because that's all it was intended to be.

I don't care who "wins." I only hope we all can figure it out before the FRC is shown. That, to me, is the fun of this board.

After the Eric meltdown, Josh.  
During the meltdown he is shown at the party saying "he shouldn't be making her cry" or similar. Both at pretty much sets him up as defender and consoler.

I think he's going to "guard and protect"
