interesting... what conclusions do you draw from these 2 references??

1. She choose Roberto in the end despite being heart-broken over frank. Pretty quick turn-around.
2. I don't think I need to explain the Ed reference. A guy who wasn't 100% committed and a lead with stars in her eyes.

What if it is Des that clues in to the fact that Brooks is not all there and releases him on her own  instead of him telling her that he as reservations ?

Because, why would Brooks say that there's nothing he could say to make it better and it was worse than he thought it was going to be?

Because the damage was already done and she has made up her mind.

If he approached her with reservations then he would not be beating himself up. Right ?

I think she went to him. And cut him loose during the BSG crying and limo scene.

I'm thinking you are correct... something happens on the HTD or even on their FD that has her questioning Brooks. Really the pressure is more on Des, since she has decisions to make. More likely that Brooks would be willing to just let things ride, but she needs answers.

I've always thought she might, too, because he acts helpless. There's nothing he can say. It's worse than he thought. It's the worst day of his life. The beside himself stuff, the pacing, and then the tears. But I don't think it's over, because she'll realize how much she loves him. I think she, too, probably has to get to HER heart even more, as well.
