And whose fiancé needs you to have his back with your family? I can’t relate.

Chris is just not stupid enough to even try to build a real life cross country with Lyndsey, IMO. CHRIS is the only one who could convince me otherwise. I await Wednesday and hope @Sprite will deliver the final, ultimate, objective report of what is seen on the screen, for sure. JMO

Not trying to pick on Lyndsey but I don't understand the rationale of not being willing to compromise on Toronto yet she is apparently moving to Australia for an extended period of time. For me, this does not support the notion that her love for Chris was so much stronger than Mik's. If anything I saw Lyndsey as more selfish. It was all about what Chris could do for her, even when describing what she liked about Chris to his mother. She is 23 so I let it go. JMO.

I don't follow the SM for any of them...other than what is posted here.

While I do see how some would label Lyndsay as dramatic based on some of her posts, she is young and I while not to my taste, I see her posts as honest and raw. Mik's post on the other hand, seem very deliberate and calculating to me. Very business like. Nothing wrong with that either, but it is a very big difference to me.

Do you think that after Chris starts to flip flop during LCD, Lyndsey starts to have all these doubts and starts to question the integrity of his words....so she leaves? Or, do you think that she stays even though she has all these doubts ?

How about Mikaela? Do you think she stays even though Chris said what he said to her to make her cry? Or, do you think that she leaves because she can't trust his feelings for her?

Just want to know your thoughts

@HEA , @ Chgohighlife I agree with you in your opinions. I think Chris was in LUST with Lyn from the get go & glossed over the issues (age,distance,family) all the way to FD. He wanted her and he was going to say whatever he needed to to take her to FD. He got what he wanted and he flipped on her. Lyn figured that out and started to doubt/questioning everything he had said to her. imo
For me the lack of eye contact from Chris especially during the" serious convos" was a little odd . I don't really know how to describe their relationship other than Lust. I think Lyn was emotionally attached to Chris & I think she meant it too...as for Chris, no ...I believe it was all lust ..
OTOH, I think from the beginning he saw thought he could have a love story with Mik. He felt the possibility of one. The relationship had more than one level. he described it as playful, romantic,serious when they needed, and he described Mik as "magic" in a PI . The problem was him not being able to open up & let her in. After FD , Mik demands to know if he is being open & honest (IMO) Remember at M&G that was her line-that she was going to be open & honest throughout the process & she has been saying it throughout. At HTD and FD they have the talk about engagement & both saying they wanted it to be once & done. She was sure He was the one for her but she would accept proposal from him ONLY if she was the girl of his dreams! Mik knows Lyn is still there & maybe wanted to know where she stood in comparison--par for the course --the last two always "worry" about the other guy)
I think Chris wasn't able to tell her that or he said something ridiculous .. & Mik was upset .(the preview with her saying that Chris had ruined the prospects of a future together...). I do think that Mik cares for him but she I don't think not enough to have a meltdown if has to go. imo. I would agree with her --this is a relationship in its infancy between 2 people who don't know each well .
Anyway for me that's the sticky point in C&M's story. Now the preview shows us no FR scenes of Mik only of her in distress after the convo with C. Was the convo in the morning or afternoon? Did they have an activity at all that day? Did Chris go to her to let her go? Did Mik ask for this convo? Was it after the day's activity ? Does this mean she left at LCD? I don't know but my gut is saying she didn't leave & Chris picked her

I watched the first few episodes without sleuthing or even checking in here because I wanted to form my own opinions and I've always felt his strongest connection was with Mikaela, though I did think he'd pick Lyndsey because these people tend to choose physical above all IMO. Mikaela's his only real fleshed out connection the entire season imo, theirs is the only relationship that felt like a real relationship this entire season and while some see Lyndsey as his real f1 or his first choice, I see Lyndsey as his refuge from fully investing in his relationship with Mikaela, because I don't think he's ready for a real relationship. IIRC He's not expressed any sentiment to or about Lyndsey that he hasn't expressed to or about Mikaela, and I think of all the girls, she's gotten the most reassurance from him this entire so I disagree with the notion that if Mikaela's chosen, it's because he can't have lyndsey. I don't think he's a bad guy but I don't think he was really ready for serious commitment. I think he's got things he needs to work through and figure out before he's the type of man that deserves either of these women, and if he and Mikaela are really over completely (because I do think she's who he chose), I think it has more to do with that rather than Lyndsey. All JMO.

Absolutely it’s different. When you are an independent woman relying on yourself and your business, your perspective is very different. When you’re not planning to cut and run back home, not planning to lose, have no husband for backup, not working for others but working for yourself and determined to succeed it IS different. I have been there so I know. I have been where she wants to go too. Chris has to start a brand new career. He is not a pro baller any more. He has to go wherever a good opportunity takes him. Mikaela told his mom she would be there for him. That’s what he needs, IMO. A smart independent woman who will support him through what’s likely to be a difficult transition after a forced retirement at 33. Fortunately he is not also recovering from another injury. Shame on him if he encumbers himself with dead weight, locked into a box that may not work for him with people who are questionable, at best. IMO.

I kinda see it this way too and I think Chris subconsciously invested so much in Lyndsey because he knew deep down it probably wouldn't work. He kinda had the aha! moment with his parents and his father even said "You always chase the difficult relationship". Unfortunately, even after the talks with his parents I expect more wishy washy-ness from him come next week. He is constantly making excuses about Mikaela ("somethings missing", "i'm too scared to open up", "there's no x-factor", "it's too perfect/easy")) even though he said to her "I'm ready for the Mik and Chris love story". Who says that to someone they don't wanna be with.  He's flaky. Bottom line, he is not ready. JMO.

Oh my goodness , the picture you paint of Chris is not very flattering. He just played Lyndsey to get into her pants. Omg!! Lol!! I guess her family was right to worry about him then.

Hope it was Mikaela who did the dumping if this is how this guy rolls!

I completely agree with the bolded. Right from night one, it was all about Lyndsey. He wanted the special time with her away from all the others - the others got to talk with him in the cubicle in the back of the room, right in the line of sight of all the other girls. Lyndsey was taken to a seperate room on it's own. She's the one that had the very first date with him period. I agree with the rest. At times I could see a few things with Mik but it pales in comparrison to what Chris and Lyndsey have. With Mik, yea, it's been easy with no conflicts, IMO cause Chris doesn't get deep with Mik....at least not till FD. Where as with Lyds, Chris got deep right away, they had real life stuff happening and things to work out. It's been typical of the editing for the F2 to rarely get deep. With the F1's, there are obstacles or at the very least the lead and the F1 get deep. With the F2, it's usually kissing and easy street as the lead doesn't really get deep with theim(or at least the edited version of what happens)IMO

I have to agree with NV that Lyndsey is who Chris wants. Doesn't mean he'll necessarily end up with her, but she's the one he wanted all along.

I agree, for Chris, Lyndsey was all he wanted right from the beginning. Like all seasons, he had to take someone to the end that would be believable to have a crack at the end, but with all seasons, the lead usually knows what they want from the very first few days in.

Exactly...and I was unspoiled for most of the season as well. Based on past editing examples, I think Lyndsay is F1. Based on what I saw, she is F1. 

Of course, the spoiler could be correct, but in that case, I think something else went down to mess things up. I think this, not because I have a bias for one girl over the other.... I could care less....this is what I see. I am so over this season.

I personally think I learned more editing tricks after being tricked so badly during season 2 when I thought that Trish was the F1. They had things easy, they rarely had stress around their relationship. Lots of kissing, but I learned that it was done as he didn't want to get deep with her and talk about serious topics. Right from night one, I thought Trish connection was the best till I realized that deep/F1'ish isn't what Trish had. IMO, Chris went out of his way for Lynds from night 1.

With regards to the second bolded: IMO, Lynds is either A) not moving to Aus for extended time as it was a rouse OR B)she is willing to compromise on Ont, just needed to be honest with the guy, needed to know how much he was wanting to be with her, what he would compromise on in order for her to finally make those compromises as well. IMO

I agree, Lynds is young, but also mature in other ways. BUT Mik is and has been all season IMO, trying to sell herself for another season. She never came across as all in for the GUY but was all in for her furthering her career, moving up in the bachnation ranks. I just don't see her as a match for Chris in any format. IMO

I fail to see how Lyndsay is dead weight. She has a job just like Mik. She seems to work hard and just because she has her family there for her during hard times, doesn't mean she isn't trying to succeed. Wasn't Mik with her family after the show? Hell, I'm an independent woman myself and I'm older than both of them put together, but it is still nice to know that I have my family to be there for me no matter what.

I also only watched earlier on but definitely saw his connection with Mikaela even though I preferred Lyndsey (out of the two). From what I've seen of previews and SCs, Lyndsey's the chemistry gal and it seems like they're trying to promote her as f1 but that makes me think even more that she's not. I guess we'll know soon enough.

I really like both girls.

They are both hard working.

Lyndsey at 23 has done quite a bit work wise for her young age. She has a bright future. Though she is still young in many ways.

Mik is great, she has a dream job that can open many doors for her to be really successful. Both girls are a catch.

IMO Chris is attracted to Lyndsay but I don’t think for the right reasons.

He needs to figure out himself what he wants to do with his life before he promises some girl the world.

Thats the one reason I believe he doesnt choose Lyndsay )although I think he wants to.
