I wonder if the show is possibly in the can due to the bust of Jasmine's season and now this. It's embarassing. Aren't they selling all the set furniture? It's like they truly don't care anymore.

Re the bolded, I was thinking the very same thing.     They have not been successful at a couple getting married.   I would not be shocked to hear this is it for them. I was really looking forward to this season but it has been a real dud for me.

Re the bolded, I was thinking the very same thing.     They have not been successful at a couple getting married.   I would not be shocked to hear this is it for them.

And that's why, aside from actually stating the ending, everyone is saying they're moving, unfollowing Bachcanada, being more loose-lipped, etc. There's potentially no next season, so no repercussions.

One thing I noticed when Chris was talking to Catie, she initially looked at the girls (possibly Jessie or Stacy) for a while then she looked at him.

And then, when Chris was addressing the girls at the end, a lot of the girls (particularly Stacy , Catie and Jessie) didn't seem to care about what he said....just kind of stone-faced. As we know from their Instagram, they're close and must know what went down with Lyndsey and Mikaela.

Only watched about 5 minutes of WTA & it was when Chris was onstage. I didn't think he looked comfortable at all.

i agree with you all

his face right before noah announced the teaser.... chris was looking down... definitely upset

i think the girls should have been way more friendly with him. i do not care what he did with catie, mikaela and lindsey... the others, they knew what they signed for and he was very kind and gentleman in their elimination.

solidarity indeed. none of the girls except catie were in their shoes.

i think his farewell was kind.

Aside from what may or may not be the case with Lyndsey and Mikaela, those girls in particular probably also feel misled. I don't have the instant recall some here have (wish I did) but, I remember thinking during his time with Catie, Stacy and Jessie as well as the other girl with the classy haircut that his words did not prepare them for the fact that he was about to send them home. He is so verbally effusive it is easy for all of them to quote statements made by him to each of them that were definitely misleading. He sort of has the same problem Dean has - you don't like someone or, find them special - tell them in a nice but, firm way. Catie has every reason to be angry IMO. He never once told her he could not see himself with her. He told the audience, the camera - but, he never told HER. He just spewed platitudes until he broke a number of hearts. I know it was not intentional, he is a good person, he may not know better but, he caused some truly unnecessary hurt for a lot of people - likely including, Mikaela and Lyndsey. JMO

IMO he used the same pattern he did his all life when he met girls at a bar for flings, it worked. but he never learn to make a difference that this show was not about flings and enjoying kissing. i am also convinced that he asked his handler to help him about platitudes and pre-made sayings to help him to go thru certain conversations that were totally boring. lets not forget that he had also no choice but to carry a certain number of girls each week. i am sure if would have much preferred to keep 4 or 5 instead of 15... his job was not so tell them: lets kiss but no matter what I do not see myself with you. his job was to kiss and lie about it until he could not anymore or was allowed to let them go. I think he was maybe a little bit too good with his kissing and words and girls did not recognized the signs... Catie never ever listen to chris. everyone saw that he was not into her, but she was completely sure he was her soulmate mentioned by the psychic... she was on another planet and only an elimination made her came back on earth. She was living in lalaland all season with him. Her major meltdown proved that she is not very stable emotionally IMO. nice girl but she needs to live on the ground not on clouds. I think it was a lost battle with the girls. a lot of them were needy and because he did not pick them, were also very bitter. dee reproaching him to do not explore a relationship and keeping her away from her daughter was totally ridiculous. few days and she was expecting what? a proposal? it was never because she had a daughter, it was because he did not feel it with her as much as other girls. deal with it girl, you are not exceptional.
was he a good lead. i do not think so. was he the worse lead i have seen? heck no. he was just told to live in the moment and f** the consequences and in that he succeed 100%

I can see why so many are thinking this, but in all the seasons of the bachelor and bachelorette series, none of the leads told any of them how they were feeling and not make them feel blindsided. I tend to disagree with Chris' not letting the girls know how he felt. Let's start with:

Stacy - he asked her about her being so prim and proper, not ever having a boyfriend, on their last 1:1 he asked her about concerns about meeting her family, plus she never had a 1:1 date and she had to know that she wasn't on equal playing field as the others.

Catie - on several occasions he talked to her about her not being able to just chill. He questioned her at HTD about what will your family think about a "Chris". Catie was the one that was not in reality IMO. She was drinking the kool-aid.

Jessie - He did tell her or questioned her about not liking the physical touch affection. She knew in her heart and stated that if he didn't let me in but at the same time it was her not letting him in, and she didn't really know his need for physical touch etc.

IMO Chris' has been one bachelor that has been very open and his concerns he talks about in VO or in PI you do see him bring it up to each of the girls. I don't remember any other bach or ette do that.

I was actually surprised to learn that the girls are given, dresses, bags swimsuits shoes..ect.

She said she came home with a pretty nice wardrobe. The dress she was wearing was at last nights WTA was given to her on the show. Also her limo gown was from the show.
