According to IMDb, she has been in three shows where she portrayed a character. The first was in Spike's Blue Mountain State where she appeared in Season 2, Episode 5 "Pregnant" for a brief scene. The guys in this college comedy are trying to figure out who left them a voicemail saying she was pregnant. Vanessa's unnamed character recently "boned" main character Thad Castle, so he approaches her to see if she's the pregnant one. The episode is available to stream on Netflix.

While she had a few lines in Blue Mountain State, her next role was pretty much a silent one except for a scream. She was on the U.S. version of the TV show Being Human on Syfy. The series, which was a remake of the British show of the same name, followed a vampire, werewolf, and ghost and so Vanessa was a human who voluntarily chose to be fed on by vampires during Season 1, Episode 11 "Going Dutch." As Lola, she was the main woman to be featured in this scene and acted alongside Mark Pellegrino (Jacob from Lost and Lucifer from Supernatural). You can watch her episode of Being Human on Netflix.

The last role that her IMDb page lists is in the miniseries Ascension, which aired on Syfy in the U.S. and on CBC in Vanessa's homeland of Canada. The six-episode series takes place on a spaceship and Vanessa is credited as "New Stewardess." Many attractive women act as the flight attendants, but I was unable to spot Vanessa in either part one or part two of "Chapter One" (the episode IMDb claims she is in). However, the miniseries is available on Netflix if you want to try to find Vanessa. I'm thinking she could be the woman putting up the sign in the background in the below photo since the camera never focused on her face.

Along with these small roles, Vanessa has had other time in front of a camera since she took on some hosting duties in the past. She was the host of the Canadian reality competition show Can Your School Rock and went by the name Vanessa G.

Vanessa remains friends with one of the actors who played a reoccurring role on Blue Mountain State. Her name is Teneisha and it was one of her IG pics that ended up circulating in the tabloids. (presluethed by this forum first) It was taken on Valentine's Day 2016. She and V fine dined out together as singles and exchanged long stem roses. It was a cute.
Incidently, this was not the friend who signed V up for the show. That friend is Jen, the health centre owner.

Does anyone think this is a SHV weekend ? I have my suspicions that they are together. V has been very quiet on IG for the last couple of days and Nick has posted 2 but you only hear his voice no actual pic. of himself . JMO

Nick is likely in San Diego with his busniess partner Bryan per Twitter and Nick's IG story post last night. But that doesn't mean Vanessa isn't there with him... she has been awfully quiet this weekend.

I beleive the IMDB was sleuthed earlier on or at least those vids, the game and hosting vids. That's when we got to see her in vids.I thought it was noted that it was matched up to when she was living in Ottawa going to school, but I could be mixing up the dates.

So no SHV I am getting concerned if they don't have one soon, very soon....

Maybe Nick will travel to Canada so they can celebrate Valentines Day together

Whenever the next SHV is, I am guessing they aren't going to be allowed to "play" about it after the orange couch bust so I am not even going to give it a second thought anymore about what/when/where the SHV are.

Why am I not surprised? If I am not wrong, Nick's first cooking post was spaghetti with marinara sauce.

I don’t understand why there are so much negative responses on Vanessa’s reactions in the last episode…Vanessa is emotionally driven, thus maybe crying is her only way of release from the extensive pressure/tension she is feeling from situations such as anxieties, panic attacks, extreme nervousness or extreme anger...

In addition to the feeling of being left out, I think, Vanessa’s biggest concerns are more so on Nick’s mindset in making the right decisions…thus, she wants to understand why Nick is keeping Corinne…why Nick picks Whitney and Danielle L for his 2-1 date…when the 1-1 date with Kristina has been announced, Vanessa has been all supportive by showing a big smile--I can foresee her genuine care for Nick’s well-being...Vanessa likes Nick, she is starting to fall for him, maybe she also loves him—for me her actions are in reflections of what platonic/unconditional love is all about, being selfless—I can totally feel her compassion reaching out to those people she loves and cares about—she is not acting jealous or is she acting like a spoiled brat crying and having tantrums just because she cannot get what she wants...but, instead she is trying to understand Nick’s reasons for making all of those decisions...

After the girls melt down, Nick stepped up to speak to each of the girls individually…I think, Nick was able to give some clarity to Vanessa’s questions…thus, everything seemed to settle back in place…but, when the 2-1 date was set, the tensions started to stir again in the house…the girls started to worry about Nick’s emotional conditions…the assurances they received from Nick had started to rock since they could clearly see and feel Nick breaking down from the impacts of his decisions on sending both people (from his 2-1 date) home…

Having watched a recent interview, Nick has confessed that it wasn’t in his intentions to send Whitney and Danielle L home right away, he has intentions of keeping them both…but, the whole conversations that have occurred between both parties have fallen so flat that it has made him felt so disappointed, thus he finally has decided to send both of them home instead…I think the keywords that sent Nick off with Danielle L: “are they on the same page?”…maybe Whitney’s statements on Danielle L’s intentions have also somehow contributed to Nick’s decisions of finally letting Danielle L go..

I guess, in a way, I feel relief from Nick’s decisions because now with only 6 girls around….Nick can focus his attention more in building relationships with these remaining people so he can choose the right girl of whom he has the best and most connections with...I do believe that Nick will be able to pick himself back up…and be able to go back working on this process again with the mindset he is looking for a wife (soul mate) that will love him and stay with him 'forever'...
