Josh has a job. Why would that be a red flag?

As a lawyer/bright woman, I think (hope) she gets the Red Flag indicators that tell me Josh has no real career, talks too much about his "Momma", quit sports as a teenager to "start a family young" and at 29 is still single. I could go on...
Bunny9138!! I look forward to seeing more of your posts. :WAVEY:

Josh has a job. He also played baseball into his early twenties when it became apparent that he didn't have the talent to move up in the baseball ranks and had injury issues. He decided to go to college and get his degree where he also walk on the football team. I'm not seeing the red flags there.

I respect your opinion but you get the fact quite wrong. He was drafted out of high school and played pro baseball ( minor league under The Brewers' umbrella) for 5 years until injuries forced him to rethink his priorities.

I don't recall anything about injuries - he said that the lifestyle didn't suit him. Also he probably had zero change of moving up into the pro league and would have remained in the farm clubs. JMO

In the introduction video clip he did say he hurt his hip flexor and spent a year in rehab in Arizona(?) or some state in the south and I don't remember. That when he had to rethink his priorities.

Considering he took a picture with a fan today at his job at Capstone, one can assume Josh is still working. With all of the money he earned through baseball, previous jobs, etc. I think it's probably safe to say he's financially stable. He got drafted as a teenager and six years later he quit baseball for good. In his intro video he said it was because he had two significant injuries that caused him to miss a year while he rehabbed in Arizona and also because he wanted to focus on having a family. Any guy that is as close to his family as Josh is, well I find that pretty admirable. I know that I want the guy that I end up with to have a solid relationship with his family so my kids can be surrounded by family.

Regardless of the outcome, I think it will be a happy ending. Regardless of who is F1.
Right now, for me, Josh seems the most "next Bachelor-ish" of the contestants.

I agree with you. He's perfect Bachelor material.

The only red flag I'm seeing with Josh is he might cry or/and boil a bunny if somehow Andi doesn't fall back in love with him yesterday. Seriously, he's normal (so far) and employed (pictorial evidence and all) and he's obsessed with the Ette. There have been worse f1s, Effff anyone? Don't get me started.

IMO the whole "Josh doesn't have a job" comes from what his bio has listed on ABC "Former pro player".
I have seen a lot of blogs and discussions online with folks wondering how a former-anything is a current job. Some were taking pot shots at that. Folks don't know what they don't know.

I don't think you can trust anything in the occupation field on the ABC bio pages - they put what they want to in there.
