As soon as he said that, Marcus also talked about The Rose, being the same "elephant" he had to cover with a napkin on his date in episode #4. I think the guys are a bit too focused on The Rose this season.

Definitely not love at first sight on Nick's part. There were quite a few men gushing to Andi but he wasn't handing out bouquets of compliments.

Ooooo, love your comment about the rose being "the elephant in the room". I'm going to rewatch the cocktail party from epi 1. .. To that convo at least.

Just my 2 cents on the whole video thing....I have yet to see any of the contestants as good actors (the shampoo commercials come to mind here). I think the tapes are completely legitimate....someone said previously that production may be involved in the leaks. where DOES RS get all of his information from anyway? It's selectively leaked (eg- the final 4 were the right players in the wrong order). I KNEW JBF was absolutely right last season when he(?) said that CHris was the F1. The evidence was there and then too obvious. this time I am not seeing it. Josh seems like a frontrunner right now. We will have to see what unfolds. Dont' we all hang onto all the clues, listen to RS for better or for worse and try to keep guessing? I think that Fleiss has a love/hate relationship with RS....Lets face it, RS draws a lot of attention to the show.

thanks for the food for thought, JBF. i hate Marcus edit!..talking about peaking too much too soon   .It doesnt seem suit well with his calm quiet personality.  He is referencing Josh in his PI (that what he had w Andi was stronger than Andi-Josh), so i would suspect he got eliminated before Josh   . Maybe its true that he kept changing his Pinterest under DR sun

Everybody is going to be climbing the walls until Josh gets his solo date a week from Monday.

Either he will hit the ball right out of the park and "hearts of Jodi" avatars will sprout like dandelions across this forum or... it will all be "Gee, he and Andi aren't THAT great of a couple". Ha ha!

I cannot wait, thank God we are going on a mini vacation wed, thru, and fri so that will kill part of the week. Also I hope we can get a video out of this 1/1. Hint hint to our video makers.

Marcus feels like a F2 dumpee... the one she will be hugging at FRC with tears rolling down her face like Jillian's Kippy... the one who will wow Daddy Hy in the finale. Josh is the "lovable" F3 we all want for Bachelor. Or maybe Fleiss should give him his own talk show called Joshin' With Josh, with special guests, the WNBA gals and Craig with his bottle sitting in the Ed McMahon seat.

I can not figure out Nick at all, but as long as you "wuv" him, Murasaki, more power to you! He is definitely... unique. He resembles a Teddy Bear to me. I'm just not sure if he is Paddington Bear or wise-cracking TED. I guess she resembles Desie with Brooks a little when making out with Nick. The editors are certainly making sure we stay focused on him this season.

The reason only a few here are with me in the Chris as F1 camp is because he is practically Find Waldo this season. I partly blame his silly letter... if that is his. We don't want to see Andi and Chris as just Pen Pals.

I'm sorry but that is way too many clauses for me. I can't buy it. Also I can't believe that he would have a phone conversation in a public place when he could be greatly sued for such an act...All of this is way too fishy for me. Someone brought up Chris last season being seen giving roses with Elan around. To me, this video is exactly that...a red herring produced to encourage the Josh spoilers.

I assume the traveler heard something that got her thinking it COULD be someone from the show, and pushed record "just in case."
It isn't that hard to do, to push record on a phone.

As for having that conversation in public, I think he was naïve enough to assume no one would be able to make the connection. After all, in all the years this show has been on, his can hardly be the first conversation of this sort that has taken place. It was only the first one that someone figured out and took the time to record.

Remember, also, that is not the only reason RS has spoiled Josh as the F1; it is simply the only one of the many pieces of evidence he had permission to post.

As much as I do think Fleiss and the producers DO plant artificial spoilers (hence the Brooks debacle), I really do not think this could be one of them. Fleiss only has to pull it off once every 5 seasons or so to keep fans unsure of the spoilers and watching the show; it isn't worth his time to over-play that game.

This season has been different in a lot of ways, and seeing many more real, less edited conversations seems to be one of them. Maybe Fleiss and production actually want to see what happens if they let a more clear story exist. It will be interesting to talk about after the season has ended.

If this video does prove to be a plant - well, I'll have to give Nick credit for his acting. Hard to imagine him being able to pull that off.

Well if it wasn't in the deleted scene and they aired it it would definitely could have been foreshadowing the ending.

What are your top THREE reasons why you see Chris as F1?   I really really like Chris but there is that Iowa thang and you said it yourself he has had NO screen time except for his 1:1.

2 - his 1:1
3 - his 1:1

Everybody here thinks these two lack "IT". Good grief! Are we all watching the same TV show? She was all over him! Giggling up a storm as she selected his shirts, drinking the Mint Julep, all gushy wushy when talking with the other couple and all "I haven't seen you smile this big all day and all night".

Obviously Eric noticed SOMETHING going on since he insisted she replaced her Pookie Face with a Poker Face soon after the Santa Anita date. Eric was always "around" Chris like his shadow in so many scenes.

I think they are hiding him for two reasons:
1.) Something... SOMETHING... must be going on between these two that the editors don't want to show. We always get equal portions of the top four guys each season. Unless their connection is too lousy to air.
2.) I guess he will be The One who "fixes" Andi when she collapses after Eric's death.

What baffles me is why she keeps dolling out the H-word even more frequently than Emily did her season. I think she only mentioned the word "engaged" loosely once. Otherwise this gal has the "ball and chain" on her brain. She does say on her promo that her LIFE changes forever at the end of this... whatever that means.
