Yeah... there is a "stagey" feel about those two. Not that I want to pooh-pooh them and upset the Josh fans. I really like Josh... by himself. He is very funny and entertaining. Just that something is "off" when he is with her. Not that I am jumping to conclusions here.
Then again, I am not very good at arguing for either Josh or Nick... something that makes this forum want to hurl something at me. Like a huge anvil.

I see her interested in Nick, but also feel the something off with Josh. Now for Chris, since they refuse to show any interaction and I didn't see the sparks you saw on their 1:1 I hadn't seen much. But I did notice the cute little flirty playfulness when she gave him his rose this time, so that is something.

I am trying to be open with every contestant. All of the Easter Eggs (a.k.a. voice-overs, promos, etc.) are still pointing to Chris regardless of the "soilers" (my pet name for Steve Boy's "evidence")... and regardless of what many here "see" on their date. Now... maybe she chooses nobody? That is possible.
Josh's date could give me something big to sink my teeth into.
If voice-overs mean anything... yeah riiiiight...
So far, Harrison has used the lines "you will be going home immediately" for both Josh and Nick (i.e. hinting an abrupt departure) and "if you don't hear your name" for both Marcus and Nick (i.e. either elimination at a rose ceremony or they are leaving before a rose ceremony like Eric). Not sure if anybody "boomerangs", but if anybody does... Nick is the strongest candidate (a.k.a. "100% crazy" for her, the line "Once you're ready to have something special, you are that much more fearful of losing it", interrupting Eric's time with his flower delivery and labeled by Eric as "competitive" and a "smart fellow", Nick escorting Andi in front of the others post-Eric).
Speaking of Eric... when he asked to see The Real Andi, she instantly cried about him not understanding what it is like to look into a guy's face and send him home. After Eric, she told the guys if they thought she had a poker face, they should leave. Eric essentially got her to become a lawyer and give the guys an ultimatum. Post show, NOBODY should question her if she was "leading" him on.
In the Marseille preview, Harrison asks if she is in love and she refuses to answer... meaning: she probably is. Since Josh hasn't had his solo date yet, she would have to have "fallen" for him in a group date in order to qualify him as The One. Nick fans can take note of her polka dot coffee cup as a "potential clue" since he wore a tie with dots on night #1. Yet you must wonder if it is really a "red herring" to fool Eagle Eye viewers into simply thinking Nick is F1.
OK... where was I in this windy analysis?... ha ha!
Oh yeah... We have Josh's date to watch on Monday. Everybody can jot down dialogue and study body language, etc.

I missed hearing him say that but still remember Sean saying it and we know what happened to him. I think MF takes pleasure in making sure they can't say that again. :giggle:

Re: Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?
My feeble attempt to see if Nick is a viable Final One per the silly “subjective edit” they are giving him.
I went back to his solo date (episode #3) to do my own windy and pointless attempt to see if he qualifies as an “edit/storyline” Final One. I’ll leave it to the snoopers searching his post-show whereabouts with her to determine if he really is. Even if Nick is not F1, his edit still tells a story… and if he happens to become Bachelor, it will obviously become next season’s storyline.
His date card reads "let's ride into the sunset". Chris reads his date card as if it applies to him instead of Nick. In Chris’ intro video (abc.com/hulu), he also involves his John Deere “into the sunset”.
Nick is shown lugging his suitcase before his date. Although all of the guys do this, with the prospect of getting canned, it is ha-ha-funny that they made a point to show Nick doing it. Add to this, we also get Andrew and Marcus speculating if he will come back without a rose. Not THIS time, boys… LOL!
Andrew, whom we have yet to see with Andi on screen after episode #1 to determine what kind of “relationship” he has with her, questions if Nick will have a "legitimate connection". Not sure what he means, but Andrew’s way of “legitimizing” involves collecting ladies' phone-numbers.
The bench Nick meets Andi at says "do not feed the birds"... and that instantly makes me laugh. He does just that in the promo shot in Venice when the pigeons all attack him as if he's Tippi Hedren.
There are many signs to read on his date. When they bike, we get "complimentary valet wharf parking". They bike ride to Lizard's Mouth and I am instantly reminded of all the lizards in Antigua last year who watched Des have a “meltdown” with Brooks… but didn’t tell us anything. Also hilarious is Andi getting him to "open up" as the camera pans on "County Civil Grand Jury / Office of the Public Defender". When Nick says he feels that “two crazy kids who might have a shot” kind of “stuff”, there is an edit to the Viewing Tower... not that I understand what that is about. We are given a lot of Easter Eggs, but I am clueless as to what they mean.
Lots of dogs on leashes. Particularly amusing is the lady being "lead" by a huge poodle as Andi states at that split moment "if I end up with Nick". (BTW, was Josh the one with an intro video sporting a bulldog... and struggling with his leash?)
Their conversation on the rocks reminded me a little of Des and Brooks under the Hollywood sign. All talk about taking the risk to get heartbroken. Somebody will be boo-hooing later. Josh has a similar talk in an outtake at abc.com, but… but… so did Nikki last season briefly and she was F1.
Love this exchange...
Nick: So we have a crush. Right? (Yeah) It is just... y'know.. You have a great resume. You...
Andi: School boy crush?
Nick (stuttering a bit): I feel like this 12 year old boy. I hope it is endearing or awkward, I dunno.
Andi: Thank you.
His hilarious PI session: I have a crush on Andi. Y'know, like, she is really cool and, y'know, there's something there. (Reminded me of Reid and Jillian here a bit in Alberta. "You are so cool!")
Andi (all giddy and smiley): I definitely know that Nick is a little skeptical but it's cute because he starts to tell me right now he has kinda a crush. This little school boy crush and I feel like I'm slowly kinda chipping away with Nick. I can see that there's someone that's very sweet and vulnerable and open and honest inside... and I feel like I can see Nick and feel Nick getting closer and letting that guard down.
Yet like Josh in upcoming episode #5 previews, she wants to "dig deeper" with Nick, apparently with a shovel rather than a “chipping” tool.
Some of his lines suggest that he is transforming into a "romantic" with Andi, but his wording is rather unusual in its pronoun usage. "I'm not desperate for love. I want to find it... and I want us to find it together." Nothing wrong with those lines, but it sounds a bit better as "with each other". Finding “it” together sounds like they are using a treasure map.
I really like this line of his, though. In fact, Fleiss & Company should put it on everybody's contract. "This craziness kinda lends its self to that possibility of falling in love with the idea of someone rather than really falling in love with them."
I guess we should always document the final words by her at the end of each date:
“For somebody who claims to be cautious, he’s definitely said a lot tonight and opened up a lot. I think that if I develop real feelings for him that I can turn him into a believer”
Shot of the clock at 12:25… past midnight. “Kissing Nick is amazing. I feel giddy, I feel romantic. I feel like that spark… that tingle. I had a really, really good date. Very good date. I definitely see potential in Nick. 100%” (In episode #4 she also says Brian is a great kisser. Not that he builds up on it in the episode #5 previews.)
The very next episode, after the basketball date, he says "I 100% met someone that I could 100% spend the rest of my life with. Like, when I go to bed now, when I wake up, I think about Andi. Y’know, I like to think that she feels exactly the same." (Again… Nick needs to re-word his sentences. He has me a trifle confoozed.)
For comparison sake to Nick’s 100% potential above, Marcus’ date ends with him telling her that the “scariest thing in my life” is NOT going down a building (a.k.a. “there’s no crying in repelling”) and Andi tells us…
“I feel so lucky. Like… Marcus told me not only that he was falling, but he was falling in love, and for me to, like, embrace what Marcus says makes me feel like I can actually find what I’m looking for here.”
On Chris’ date, she closes quite simply and blunt: “Chris is the perfect person to have this date with. I’m so happy right now.” He ends the date with “It was a great day at the track. I want to win Andi’s heart. That’s something that dreams are made of right there.” (Like the Maltese Falcon.)
This reminds me… Chris and Andi both discuss wanting a “great love”… and Chris repeats what the older couple tells them in Santa Anita: “You just kinda know”.
Nick… says the same thing at the cocktail following Chris’ date in episode #2. “I don’t want just good” and “I’m OK for holding out for a little bit… that ‘When You Just Know’...”
Andi then tells Nick he read her mind. “Nick Vee and I are very aligned in what we’re looking for. We both want something great and that undeniable, unconditional love that you can’t even describe. To hear someone feel the same way I do about it is very hopeful for me.”

Re: Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?
I have to go back to Chris’ B-O-R-I-N-G date… the one that you, Litta slept through… ha ha!.
This was the first line we heard from Chris:
"Knowing that the guys got out of hand last night, Craig in particular, it is unfortunate and I hope it doesn't affect how Andi feels about our date today. All I really can do is show her a good time and be the gentleman that I am and make her smile and help her forget about last night's date... and hopefully we have a great time."
Hold the horses! Déjà vu time!
Backtrack last year... Another Chris voices concern about Bryden arriving to talk to Desiree and is worried if she will be OK, but Des assures us under all of her tears on the face on screen: "I’m not going to let Bryden affect my date with Chris. Not at all. I just want to get back to Chris so I can feel happy again.”
Backtrack two years ago... Jef Holm in episode #5 (Emily): "Yesterday seems to have been a pretty emotional day for Emily... and when the guys came back, they told me what happened. So... one of my goals for today is definitely make sure Emily is feeling OK... and I just want to let her know that I am there for her and I care about her."
Backtrack three years ago... Jordan Paul Rosenbaum in episode #3 (Ashley): "I know she had an emotional night on the group date. I know Bentley going home today couldn't have been easy for her, so I don't know how emotional she is going to be, but I do want to know that she's OK and once I touch on it, then we are going to go on with the rest of the night."
Ugh! I think the F1 guys on the Bachelorette are falling into a rut. That is… if IF IF Chris is F1. (BTW, he also says later that he’s “here for the long haul” like Chris Siegfried. Then again it could just be tractor talk.)
Now… here is a list of every line that Andi says in her “non-orgasmic” date that can be contrasted with what was spoken on Nick’s and what will be on Josh’s this Monday…
I’ve never been to the races before, but I’m really excited. I’m in my 40s’ glam… (but a ‘60s mini skirt with her legs slowly panned on as if she’s a cat on a hot tin roof) … and I am hoping things turn around. I am hoping to get that excitement back because last night was tough. (What? Didn’t Marcus and Josh fix things with you? The guys were mostly... "bare"!) I know very little about Chris. He lives in Iowa. He’s a farmer. I’m definitely a city girl, but if that is what farmers look like, I need to move to the country. Uh huh!
Last night obviously did not go so well. (I enjoyed Craig’s performance myself though.) I left the date pretty disappointed. I couldn’t help but question what guys were there for me and what guy were there to party and have a good time. I’m here to find love. So today, I’m hoping that Chris is that gentleman that knows how to treat a lady because… I need it right now.
Santa Anita park is absolutely stunning. All these historic buildings. It really makes me feel like Chris and I are traveling back in time. / Chris and I check out the horses and decide on which ones we’re gonna bet on. / Beautiful race track. It is just mountains. It literally looks like a postcard. / It’s a beautiful day out. It is just a nice day to be at the races. The VIP suite was very sophisticated and was very nice. Chris and I sipped on mint julep… bet on some horses. Watching the races was really fun. / Today has been such a great day and I think I’ve put EVERYTHING from last night behind me. Being with Chris, I feel great. I feel what a refreshing good date.
When I picture my life, y’know, 55 years from now, I do hope that I’m married with the same person and sitting at the race track. Enjoying an afternoon together. I want that. I want that love and that marriage that lasts a lifetime. This is exactly why I wanted to be Bachelorette. Now all I have to do is bet on the right horse. (Cue shot of Josh at the race track… LOL! Note all of the “winner” talk we get in this scene.)
We watched the races today and to see it at night was so romantic, calm and quiet... specifically and exclusively for us. It’s going good so far with Chris. He’s just so genuinely sweet, from a small town and I’m thinking to myself, like, how is he not snatched up by now?
Hearing him tell his story about his engagement, it resonates with me so much more than I even could have expressed it. Both of us have kinda chosen not really ready to settle and going to look for not just good but great. I was very impressed and I really respect Chris for that. / I am so impressed with Chris. He is a guy who definitely open and honest and really here to fall in love. He has done something that nobody else has done so far: he’s given me that encouragement and given me what I needed in the moment without even knowing it.
There is this band called Wild Life and we have a private concert. Perfect way to end a perfect date.
(Contrast to Marcus’s date and his very public concert: “He hears the music and instantly he lights up. He is like… what is going on? Because he loves John Pardy. He’s just ecstatic.” Yes, she is so happy seeing how happy Marcus is since she cares very deeply for him, but there is no couple talk here.)
Last night was disastrous, but today it is like Chris put me back on track.

too funny but true.... Oddly enough, Fleiss had to put it in full display as Josh's biggest fear (She wont like me as much as i like her) in his ABC bio. Go figure :shocked!:

This is my personal take on Andi's Boys. Just know that I am only being "cute" with Nick. I don't want you and Julychild coming after me!
