Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not?

JBF, KUDOS!!!!!   Great job, and thanks for all the hard work.  

What cracks me up are the last scenes of each guy in the episode #5 promo, as if this how their storylines are going...

Josh comments "It looks pretty intense" (Run! Josh! Run!)

Nick (along with Marquel) gets Andi's "I wanted to just shake him!" (I can hardly wait for the Big Showdown later this season...)

Marcus is asked point-blank: "Do you think (you are the frontrunner)?" (Oh leave the poor boy alone! Even if he thinks he has the greatest "connection" with her.)

Chris gets Marcus' line "I’m a little nervous performing publicly" (Is that why you are Find Waldo this season? Then again... the way Andi croons suggests you must be performing more than adequately when the cameras are not around.)


By the way, these are the final voice-overs each gets at the 4th rose ceremony:

Josh: It’s disappointing (Andrew speaking)

Nick gets a delightful trio of: "If you do not receive a rose, you will be going home immediately" (Harrison), "I am NOT looking back" (Andi) and "The feelings are raw and natural… at times crazy" (also Andi)

Marcus does better with Andi's "(This is working for me.) I said that at the beginning of the night."

Chris gets Harrison's "to sincerely find the man of her dreams" and Andi's "the feelings are there". (So why is the dude blubbering at that rose ceremony?)

JBF, did you notice at the last RC that some of the men were under that massive light fixture that looked to be from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", a few men under no light, the 3 guys who already had roses (Dylan, Marcus, Brian) where under a single light.

I laughed out loud.  Super fun.  

It seems like most of the guys are "in the dark" as to what is going on this season. That gal sported an odd grin on her face after her "fight" with Eric.

All we can do is just have fun watching it all. I may less optimistic of Nick's chances than the other three guys (sorry Nick fans), but HE will guarantee me a great season nonetheless. "She's mine! She's mine! She's all mine! Go! Go! Mine!"

Just tossing these here regardless what anybody is able to see or not…

Andi (playing with her hair in the wind): Really? What number in the second round?
Josh: I was 48 overall, second in the second round. I’d much rather be here than playin’ ball, that’s for sure. ‘Cause… I wannaFamilyN-Everything.
Andi: You have a family…

Yup, she is definitely “starting to dig deeper”. She knows what position he played. Baby steps, Andi, baby steps. Let’s hope you two don’t “stall” like you claim you did with Eric.

Andi: You’re gonna kiss me already or what? (Followed by one, then her “I mean”… and two more.)

I miss Ryan Park and his bursting chest. How is Mister Sunshine these days with his solar panels? Too bad abc.com’s extract of Chris Siegfried’s poem in Munich was removed shortly before this season so body language experts can compare Andi’s facial expressions with Desiree’s. Anyhoo… here is how SHE looked…

Brian PI: This wasn’t on my list to do today.
Brian to Andi: Slimy. So slimy. OMG
Back to his PI: This is going to be interesting.
Andi ready to eat: OK
Brian (after tasting): Oooof! (laughs) (Back to his PI) The sea urchin was pretty bad. I smiled because I was with Andi but I could have gone today without that.
Andi in the store: Ten pairs of frog legs?
Brian: Good gawd.
Andi: Oh my… gawd. (PI in the street) We’re in France, so why not just throw it all in there and go for it?
Store clerk: Thank you. (Merci)

Brian and Andi in the kitchen, edited to suggest the date is a disaster… even though you know it won’t be.

Andi (voice-over as they hold hands walking): Today I am creating a memory by cooking food with Brian. I don’t know how it is going to turn out, but something tells me that (closes eyes with grin) that it is gonna be pretty memorable.
Andi (cute grin on her face) to Brian: Welcome to my apartment. (Yeah… she is “hot” for him regardless of his pecking order.)
Brian: I like it. This is cute.
Andi: This is where we are going to cook. (cut to the bag opening) I feel like we should start marinating the… um… frog legs though.
Brian: Frog legs. Good… Lord.
Andi giggling: Hey. It will be a first for both of us.
Brian voice-over/PI as he looks about awkwardly: I’m pretty much out of my comfort zone. You can ask my mom… you can ask anybody… uh… I don’t cook.
Andi: How do you like your broccoli?
Brian: Different ways. I guess.
Andi PI with her eyes rolling about: I don’t think he likes cooking at all. (voice-over, then PI session, as each does their “thang” not looking at each other) This guy was great all day and we get in the kitchen and it is, like he’s so… stand off-ish. (Close-up of her chopping a potato.)
Andi: Tell me the last time you cooked a meal, let’s be honest.
Brian: I’m telling you, I am not a good cook.
Andi: It’s OK. (back to voice-over) If I was a guy and I see my woman cookin’, like, choppin’… that’s gonna be a little of a turn-on, like, I would come by her and, y’know, steal some kisses and he is, like, SO timid and, like, NOT what I was expecting.

Yep to Brian & Andi's clip being heavily edited. I'm not sure if she is really attracted to him or just likes his company.  It seems they will be eating 3 times on this date: food vendor, kitchen, sidewalk cafe.

This edited cooking clip really has superficial convo.  I didn't notice that until I read your transcript (love your transcripts   ) She could have asked him where he eats out, something about his mom, given him a cooking task and guided him.....

True. Also there are fewer guys left to eliminate so that factors in as well when deciding who stays.

Thanks JBF, this is my all time favorite date. That look is priceless! To me she was a goner already. In an interview about the men in her life, her dad and Chris. Des said, she gets weak at her knee every Chris kisses her. Adorb.
I can't wait for the next episode. Nick is reading a poem? this, I got to see.And Josh+Andi = will probably be the most watched date of the season, a lot of expectation has been put on this. I hope we are not disappointed, cus he is my fav.

That is EXACTLY why I posted it, despite a number here feeling it is unwise to compare this season with past Bachelorettes. There is a chance (although I kinda doubt it) that the preview altered Andi's facial expression and we will need to see it play out on Monday to see if there is any difference. See if there is any "gobbily gook" in Andi's expressions with Nick. (My problem... so far... is that she talks about how great their relationship is, but she LOOKS "hotter" for Brian despite downsizing how awful that date is... and yeah, Brian is clearly not reading the "signs" she is giving him.)

Poor Brian, missing opportunity here. He is right, he has no game when it comes to women. I hope he doesn't get sent home. To me he is gorgeous in a cheesy way.

I did notice that Andi moved her arm from John during the boat scene. You can catch it in the slow motion video.
