Geez, been gone for 6 months and it's nice to see the Mean Girls are still at it!  

Is it "mean" to not believe what Fleiss is trying to sell?

I was called "mean" during Deanna's season by the Jason fans too when I said she would not choose him and involve a child because she really wanted Graham ...and then months later she said exactly that in the media.

I was called "mean" when I though Ed was a sleezeball. Well, he proved that correct too.

Just because I am not all warm and fuzzy inside when a guy says in one breath he knows he is not in love with the girl and then shows up a couple of days later with a big shiny rock does not make me mean. I prefer insightful :Smiley:

It might not make sense that brooks is final 1 but it would make even less sense if Chris or Drew were. The only guy she wants is brooks. Period.

I feel sorry for Des if the only guy she wants is Brooks. she really doesn't even know him that well. I could even call it infatuation or a crush. She'll get over her crush soon and fall in love with someone who really loves her.

If you watched objectively, you would have seen that Brooks was not all that much into Des. Even CH said so. Most of it was in her head. She was running so fast, she didn't realize that Brooks was crawling behind her. Pun intended ;)

I'll give you my theory on Brooks, but his diehard fans will hate it.

Brooks was sure he wasn't in love with Des. He was hoping she was further along with Drew and Chris so he didn't have to face her love assertiveness (for  a lack of better term) in the FS.
Now he finds out that she was going to choose him. He doesn't need any more time with her. For what? All he has to do is continue this charade, and Des will be ecstatic with a morsel of love. There isn't enough time to fall in love with ANYONE, Des, Chris, Drew, Brooks. He could just crash the party at the end.....WHY,  you ask?

Because as soon as he got into the limo his wheels were turning-HE HAS IT IN THE BAG. All the media, publicity, his life will never be the same. I'll bet James' conversation came in real handy now.

All he has to do is play the game with Des for a few months, and his career, love life etc will go up exponentially. As his fans wrote on this board in stone HE IS A DEEP THNKER". For once, I'll agree with this statement.

Maybe when she realizes Brooks doesn't love her and thinks about it somemore she will get turned off and move on....to maybe Chris...she did say she was falling in love with him before.

Anyway Michael G is good friends with Brooks right? He said in an interview last month that he thinks Des makes the best match with Chris...he also went on to talk about how much Des liked Brooks and gave him looks...he did not emphasize the feelings Brooks had for Des. I personally think Michael knows that Brooks dumped her.

If she is not falling in love with Chris or Drew at all then she needs to move on. If she feels like she could fall in love with one of them with Brooks out of the picture she should try to pursue it. These are 2 great guys and they really feel like they could marry her. I mean in real life if a guy liked Chris or Drew liked her I think she would date them and might eventually fall in love with one of them.

These sources don't ever seem to have any details.  That's what makes me mad that people are getting their hopes all wrapped up in Brooks/Desiree being together.

I received confirmation this morning from a very reliable source that Brooks is the F1 and the couple is happy.
Quite sure others will be hearing same and reporting such.

Actually, it makes no difference to me who any of them pick or how long they do or don't stay together. Seriously. No snark there.
Like anyone else here, I wish people happiness and good health, blessings and strength to get through the tough times.
My own personal life is not effected by the show and I try never to involve myself to that point where it could there are too many real issues for all of us.

Yes and that's her prerogative. Some people enjoy the process of sleuthing and analyzing the SC's, edit and other clues. It's called thinking for yourself. I see absolutely nothing wrong with it and don't see why anyone else should have a problem. We all watch this show in our own way. It would really be nice if everyone could respect that each of us takes our own path.

And such was not the case. She said Brooks was unlike any other guy she's met before so it's safe to say she met the Chris and Drew types before and it didn't click even then.

Right on! You don't even have to defend yourself. If others have to characterize those of us who prefer not to take things at face value as "mean" or even "haters" then that's their problem.
