That would be too Hollywood. I hope she holds out for more than his regret.
I agree with this. Otherwise she's going to come out of this looking quite foolish. I think if you walk away from someone, there should be some real remorse and a serious explanation as to why you now want to propose.

True.
But I would enjoy the Bollywood ending proposed in recent posts ...
Ultimately, it is 90% manufactured TV show, 10% about what really is going on with the two people who end up matched. Obviously it is more fun if it makes a good story, and my main hope it isn't something that the producers forced our couple through for needless pain. If something real comes out of it in the end, then I am extra happy :)
Just give me something that looks like a real love story to help me escape into my own version of fantasy for a while. And maybe against the odds one of those stories will actually survive real life. Nothing wrong with a little hope, right?

It looks like Brooks is seriously remorseful in the previews.

That would only happen if she really didn't fall in love. MF doesn't really focus on the "real" lovestory, his focus is on creating a fantasy that the viewers will buy into whether there is a "real" lovestory or not. That is why viewers are often either "surprised" or "shocked" at the end when they find out that the manufactured lovestory wasn't the real one. jmonorthernviewer wrote:If MF went to all that trouble with Brooks.... you can bet your sweet bippy that he's going to end up being F1

So very true! Sometimes it is what it is. Can't make this stuff up. The first guy to doubt this process and question it although he fell for the lead. Just needed to separate the bubble from real life before he proceeded to the proposal.

We'll see what Brooke really does, if he does walk away in some way, but I will point out that Ian very much questioned the process and if he could propose at the end of Meredith's season. It earned him a lot of dislike back then. Fortunately, more people have since figured out how unrealistic the process is and may be more willing to accept the storyline. To me, it is very real to have questions and how things can carry into real life.

True. Even parents are getting more savvy. They don't just fall for the gimmick. More are asking questions about the process. And still there are others inhaling the bubble's air.
