Desiree's blog indicates it's all about Brooks 'and the remaining men'.  Not that I think he's final 1, but it would only make sense if he's either coming back or she let Drew out so early that it seemed obvious she was picking Chris. S.  

However, WetPaint describes the ring that the rejected f2 guy gets for Desiree.  That and a voice over from Brooks only fits him coming back.

Also Des' VO saying, After THIS ,  he better get down on one knee and propose. Curious thing to associate with Chris if he's F1. It could only apply to Brooks.

You kind of saw this coming, right?
Harrison: I can't say I saw that coming, but obviously we could all see the warning signs. She always reassured me I was wrong and there was so much more we didn't see, but obviously there wasn't. It was one of those old cases where you just believe what you want to believe and see what you want to see and she was just blinded by how she felt about the guy. But at the same time I think he fell for her and loved her. I don't know what his issues are, but he just wasn't as into her as she was.

Did he never think about staying, but just not proposing?
Harrison: It's hard to tell with him. I tried to understand what he was thinking, but he has such a tough time articulating. Now I know how Des felt because I didn't understand it either. I also think he was trying to be the good guy and trying to say the right things, but you're not going to look good doing this. But I don't think he's a bad guy or malicious, I just think he was so careful and trying to be nice that he couldn't make his point. I had to stop him and say, "Let's be clear, what do you want to do?" Because there were a lot of options for him besides just leave. But I think what he wanted to say was, "I'm not in love with her. I want to leave." He just couldn't say that flat out.

Watching the episode, it really seems like her and Chris have something strong.
Harrison: When you watch it now, and I think Des might feel the same way, you're like, wow those two [are on a different level] than what she had with Brooks. You shouldn't have to have funny little verbs or code names for how you're feeling. You should be able to talk like adults and if the guy can't, it's a red flag. It means he's either not capable or mature, or he doesn't feel it.  When you look at Chris and Drew these are articulate men. I'm not sure why it wasn't so evident to her.

Were you able to talk to her about the other dates?
Harrison: No, it was just about Brooks. But I knew that the other dates went well.

So how does this finale play out now?
Harrison: There's nothing typical about this finale. It begins with her and I sitting down and putting the pieces together of where we go from here. Are you going to give these other guys a chance and if so how is that even possible? But the other dynamic here is that Chris and Drew have no clue because we separate everybody at this point. So we also have to deal with that there are two really good guys who very much love her and we owe it to them to have a conversation and tell them what happened. And then there's Brooks. If anybody was ever set to come back and be wishy-washy, it's him. There's definitely that option.

And there will still be a live After the Finale Rose?
Harrison: Yes, and from what I understand all three guys will be there. That to me will be the most riveting After the Final Rose because I have so many questions and I know if I do, the viewers definitely do.[/quote]

I just can't believe we have a Jef and Emily redux.  Remember how they were the greatest love that ever happened in the history of the world?  Despite how awful and fake they were together? Despite all the obvious clues that it was a disaster of a relationship?   Did we learn nothing? Just because someone is the spoiled F1 does not mean it's a great love! I sure hope we can learn some lessons from the last two bachettes.

I feel so bad for Brooks.

I do, too.  
It seems as he developed from embryo, fetus, baby and to grown adult his skeleton system never completely developed and solidified. He has failed to completely develop a spine! And now as full adult male it seems he has pasta spine syndrome! One of the main symptoms is being mealy mouthed and tends to wishy washiness, can be found primarily moving from job to job and living with family.

CH interviews today were very telling of what's to come.
Brutally honest. Not flattering to Brooks.

This will not be a happily ever after for Des and Brooks next week after all of CH remarks.

I would take anything CH says with a small grain of salt. He is a puppet who's strings get pulled by the machine.

Yes- CH is a puppet . But never has CH been this negative about a F1 unless something went wrong. They don't throw the F1 under the bus in interviews prior to the FRC unless the " intended" F1 messed things up.

I know many holding out for a happily ever after for Brooks and Des. I think the chances of that happening after CH and Des comments yesterday are very unlikely.

If you write according to the edit of what we saw Monday, Brooks was wishy washy. The cannot insert anything positive and allude to his return and the potential positive outcome. Chris said, Brooks is not a bad guy so he's not completely throwing him under the bus. So again really, after we saw what we saw Monday wishy washy is a milder term. It defined Brooks actions . Simple as that.

CH made comments a out Brooks behind the scenes
that were not in the edit - like him thinking about leaving for
3 weeks and deciding for sure after HTD.
That was not in edit - his indecisiveness for
3 weeks about leaving. He said that in interviews.

Like many posters above said - CH could have described
Brooks in many other ways that are less harsh than wishy washy-
indecisive, deep thinker, moves slowly when making such important decisions.

CH also was derogatory about the " words" Brooks used for describing
his feelings - like he is emotionally immature.

These comments are not typical CH spin of an F1.

In fact, If Brooks comes back CH is setting it up
that he will "still" be " wishy washy".

Throughout Sean's season, CH made several less than complimentary remarks about Catherine.

The whole season's ending is proported to be like no other, and certainly is so far in that it's a two part finale, so all things don't have to be exactly as they've always been either with regard to what CH says or is told to say. I agree with Barb, and others who have said Brooks was wishy washy. No doubt about it. The question for me is what factors contributed more heavily into what went down with him. We may never know or as the second part of the finale is aired and during the ATFR we may learn more. I'm ready to find out!

True. That comment, if it is Des' and this season, and said in that way, applies to Brooks. I can see her saying that after he comes back and she decides to give him another chance.

I honestly can't wait for her to grill him a little and make him squirm. Good stuff. But poor Brooks, too.

The quote is "After tonight, I want him down on one knee...." Not after THIS.
