I am totally confident Brooks returns and proposes.
What I am not confident about is their status right now.

Well if her brothers tweets are true then she is still very happy so I take it that things are still going good.

She also share alot of little intimate details of their experience along the way like passing notes, etc to share feelings, this is why, I feel they both are so torn and bawling in last nite epi.    

Except for the bolded, I read the same thing and got a totally different feeling than you.
So you think that IF Brooks was fighting these feelings for 3 weeks (per CH), one week will correct it? The huge point is that Brooks was NOT feelin it.

Like I said before: Des is NOT glowing after the show.
So whatever happened, whether she picked someone (Brooks, Chris, Drew) or not she's NOT happy even tho she tries to put on a brave face.

How can they say he was fighting this for 3 weeks.  Don't you'll remember how happy he was on the home town date last week.  He ran to her and kept kissing her among other things.

Also, nanny, Chris H said in an interview after HTDs that if that had been the finale, that they would have had 4 guys get down on one knee to propose.

After last night there seems to be an underlying tone that things are not ok now.
Even if Brooks is F1 and I believe he is, CH and TPTB not painting him in a flattering light to be the F1 which is unusual .
Her brother may be protecting her by saying she's doing well - her family isn't supposed to know outcome and really wouldn't say if she's not .

She's not in love with Chris or Drew.
Her love with Brooks has been tainted, BIG TIME. She's been chasing him, and the love has been one-sided. This has the potential for future insecurities. Also, she said in her blog that she wasn't aware of Brooks talking to his family, so even if she gave him another chance, their communication totally $ ucks. He's not completely honest with her. This does not bode well for the future, even if right now she's on her 6 month honeymoon with Brooks.

I'm not the poster but I think she meant post-show. Brooks should have told Des that he took his family's advice after they were "engaged" and / or "dating". She should not have found out watching it back lol. Or perhaps they are not together at all so therefore she had no clue till she watched it back.

I don't agree with this at all--that their love is tainted. I think it has the potential to be beautiful—even next week. I believe, fully, that Brooks just needed to hear that Des loves him. Did you see the look on his face when she told him that? And then he was angry: "You could've told me this a long time ago." He really gave her a look then. He insisted she could've told him she loved him, even though she insisted she couldn't. He was mad at her there. I'm sure he thought he could've used the info in his "emotional process." Instead, he was left with not knowing how she felt and worrying that she didn't feel the same, and feeling that they didn't really have a relationship when they were apart, because he knew she was with other guys. His ears pricked up when she told him it had been all about him, she hadn't wanted to date all the other guys, but just to be with him.

NOW he gets the info he needs he can worry less and feel the love more.

Des loves him. Taking him back on this show that messes people up is not out of the question. It's understanding how this show works and messes with people; understanding that this isn't a real life situation; understanding where he's coming from. It's the only smart and wise thing to do—to give him a chance if he comes back sincere and explains himself. She loves him. There really doesn't seem to be any other logical solution to the ending, like everybody says. Not just because of them, but how this whole season has been edited and set up. If she goes with a default he's going to feel very bad about their "love story" on this show.

On a serious note, did Des say she was not aware that he spoke with his family when they initially broke up in Antigua or that she didn't know it until now (present day)?
