Yes Susie very well thought out. Ita. Brooks is being wishy washy. Gotta call a spade a spade. But that state of mind can also be induced by manipulative handlers. They have such a complete psychological picture of their ward that they know the hot and cold buttons. And, they do push either as needed. We know that Brooks can also rise to the occasion when he wraps his mind around this whole process and realize Des is THE ONE. I think it can bode well for their future if they end up together. The unknown that confused Brooks will no longer be a factor . Des can make him secure in his feelings. If there are any two who have ever come to know each other it's Brooks and Des.

I do... I believe what they have gone thru is going to solidify what they have been building on. Brooks is looking at the end of this series not as a prize to be won, but the woman who takes his breath away, that he can't live without. next show on Monday (remember this is still that day, not a week later), I'm confident we will see the light bulb go off when he realizes that he loves Des fully and completely, and he will move heaven and earth to get what his heart wants. when he comes to that realization, all hell will break loose.
it is while we are on the mountain tops that take our breath away, but in the valleys that we grow. Des and Brooks are growing leaps and bounds right now.
eta... darn fingers :giggle:

Yes, yes, yes!Alanna wrote:ITA. He should have just left earlier to give her a chance to fall in love with one of the other guys. Des is like Jillian used to be- love hurts, it's not supposed to be easy, blah blah blah. Always with the corollary that the "right" guy will cause chaos and destruction in your world and that's how you KNOW he's the right one for you.treschicas wrote:nd4reality wrote:I think part of the problem is that he has not been painted as a "bad guy" from the get-go. Not that he is bad at all - it took real guts to do what he did. Plenty of leads have even chosen someone just for the sake of the show and he hasn't played along.
But normally when someone exits we know the reason and they are setup to be the one to hurt and humiliate the lead. Not this time. This time, the guy who exited is the spoiled and beloved F1 who apparently had no signs of bailing (unless we count the sleuthed SC of BSG !).
It seems like that is the problem this season - the dumper of the lead is not the bad guy or rather not been painted as a bad guy (like Frank, Bentley etc. who we knew from the get-go they were going to dump the lead).
Its all perception.
I wasn't that surprised he bailed...I always questioned how much he liked her....I was more thinking if he did bail it would be after the show. I think one of the big reasons why people are surprised he bailed is simply because of the spoilers out there that he is F1.
Anyway what Brooks did was kinda like what Brad did in season 1....he just wasn't in love and was honest about it.
No.
It's the opposite, people! The right one makes everything more right in your world than it ever was before his arrival. She probably thinks the other two aren't her type because her type is full of drama, heartache, tears, and a whole battery of teenage girl approved hysterics in general.

Yes- CH is a puppet . But never has CH been this negative about a F1 unless something went wrong. They don't throw the F1 under the bus in interviews prior to the FRC unless the " intended" F1 messed things up.agentcurls wrote:Goldie2 wrote:Wishy washy is not a compliment. That's what I was saying.
CH interviews today were very telling of what's to come.
Brutally honest. Not flattering to Brooks.
This will not be a happily ever after for Des and Brooks next week after all of CH remarks.
Nope.
I would take anything CH says with a small grain of salt. He is a puppet who's strings get pulled by the machine.
I know many holding out for a happily ever after for Brooks and Des. I think the chances of that happening after CH and Des comments yesterday are very unlikely.
FYI- I am not a newbie here- just have not posted much this season;)

According to that L & S article Desiree and the guy she accepted the engagement with are still together.
I don't think it's Brooks though. I wish it were.
Am I the only one who think that the only proposal which could be done, whoever is the F1, would be a dating proposal instead of marriage proposal. ?

If you write according to the edit of what we saw Monday, Brooks was wishy washy. The cannot insert anything positive and allude to his return and the potential positive outcome. Chris said, Brooks is not a bad guy so he's not completely throwing him under the bus. So again really, after we saw what we saw Monday wishy washy is a milder term. It defined Brooks actions . Simple as that.

However, WetPaint describes the ring that the rejected f2 guy gets for Desiree. That and a voice over from Brooks only fits him coming back.
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

I don't consider CH's comments throwing Brooks under the bus. Brooks IS being wishy-washy. He's just describing him accurately. If he is he is, but I don't think he will be once he recognizes love, whether on or off this show. The guy just needs to learn.
Not many F1s have been like Brooks. He's one-of-a-kind. If the spoilers are correct.

Also Des' VO saying, After THIS , he better get down on one knee and propose. Curious thing to associate with Chris if he's F1. It could only apply to Brooks.

True. That comment, if it is Des' and this season, and said in that way, applies to Brooks. I can see her saying that after he comes back and she decides to give him another chance.
I honestly can't wait for her to grill him a little and make him squirm. Good stuff. But poor Brooks, too.
