Madrid looks promising since it would be daylight when he landed there and night when he landed in Brisbane on the way to the Solomon Islands.

And there are direct flights to Madrid from 3 of the possible LAX flights he was on yesterday, JFK, MIA and DFW, which all landed in the Madrid AM.

I'm really hoping they did head back to Madrid. There are a million things they never did last time they were there. Even some of the surrounding smaller cities would be the perfect backdrop to a FD. I wish there was more in that rainy airport picture so we could place it. BTW, I love the Madrid airport and parts of it are very distinctive with the colors they used so any more pictures could be easily matched if that's where they are.

But, I just looked at the arrival time and converted it to Madrid time. His tweet was at 5:22PM Madrid time and those flights all landed in the morning, the latest at 11:50AM.

So back to the drawing board. Raining and a time that converts to daylight from 10:22 AM Central time.

You can upload pictures to Instagram at any time (meaning not automatically as you take it) so he might have taken it and uploaded it later.

I think it will be in Australia. just my gut feeling.

Sometimes with bad internet connection you can take a picture w/ Instrgram but it won't upload right away so you have to keep trying. I have taken pictures on there that couldn't be uploaded til days later because I didn't have good enough internet connection.
