Re: London 2012 Olympics ~ Discussion
I thought I could watch...but I keep stressing out and feel like tearing up watching them at all the mistakes. I'm not sure I can watch the continued downfall and melt down. I'm going to try, but not sure I'll make it all the way through!

I'm conflicted about knowing the results ahead of time. If the results are bad, I'm glad to know early so that I don't get too emotionally invested. If the results are good, then I hate knowing ahead of time because it takes some of the fun out of it!
I feel the same! Tried avoiding them today, but it didn't work. Was so mad that I found out about Lochte winning gold and Phelps not meddling by a news update blooper thing running across the tv screen. I had wanted to watch them battle for it...so knowing ahead of time I was disappointed, but it didn't stop me from watching! Had to watch Ryan win and get his meddle, but hated seeing Phelps not place.

There's nothing worse than watching an Olympic athlete trying to hold back tears.

:Woah-hoo: danceround :crazy dance:
1-0 USA women's soccer over North Korea
256 mins of shut out time! Another Wambach goal (even with her black eye, and FIFA finally gave a red card to the one who sucker punched her)!

Me too! I haven't seen any spoilers for it yet...do I need to go in search of them later to prepare myself. Like with the men's team last night? :Frown:

I know I was glad to see the spoilers, but then I don't like surprises.

Sometimes, but I'm trying not to say anything to give it away. If you REALLY don't want Olympic spoilers, you need stay away from most internet sites, unfortunately. I saw the spoilers on Twitter.

I'm not going to spoil it for you but - don't you get live coverage during the day in the States? I watched everything live on the Canadian networks. So, I know all of the results from today's events.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.
