I loved Kiptyn! It was so fun to be a Kip fan that season. None of us cared he wasn't the F1. We just all sat back and enjoyed him while he was on! :yes:

I am very confused about the way Doug left the show? According to Wetpaint Emily wanted to kiss him and he didn't want to? So they never kissed even on their 1-on-1 date? scratch

I thought their interactions in the M&G pics looked good too. I guess we'll have to wait and see what went wrong on their last time together in the episode before HTD's.

I don't know. I'm still confused myself with exactly what happened. Guess we'll have to wait and see. He makes it all the way to the F6.

If his alleged comment happened after he had been eliminated by not receiving a rose on a 1-1 date, I doubt we will hear it. We usually don't see the contestant again once the lead says good-bye. I have to wonder if the source misheard...it really didn't sound like something he would say to camera crew. :sourgrapes:

I don't know. I'm still confused myself with exactly what happened. Guess we'll have to wait and see. He makes it all the way to the F6.

Judging by pictures alone, I'd say that Doug was most likely in Emily's original F4. Learning the reasons that they come undone will be such an interesting sub-plot this season along with Ryan Bowers' undoing.

I'm super glad that we have the M & G pictures at this time. I can dispense now with all fangirlism (did I drool over Ryan Bowers a little?) and focus on overanalysis! Thank God!

San, Doug's a hunk for you!

Another Doug fan here (have I posted that before Hugesmile

). And I was a huge Kiptyn fan, was one of those that refused to get off that surfboard laugh out loud

and really liked Brad too so I can see where the attraction to Doug comes from.

I'm a Doug fan too....it'll be interesting to see the personalities behind the faces. I really am 'dumbfounded' by Emily's type. During Brad 2.0, she noted that she was 'hoping' Brad was the Bachelor...so we got a glimpse at her 'likes'. Fast-forward to this season...I have no clue. I sometimes wonder if she is still in the R. Hendrick mode of her first love which was young and naive...hence young-looking men. Heck, these men might have mature personalities that surpass their young looks...time will tell. Not only am I looking forward to seeing Emily's true personality, but those of her F3 as well! Still love my Ryan and Doug...next Bach season...dual leads...one can only wish! giggling

I think you speculated earlier that Emily may be intimidated by the "men." I do recall her saying to Brad shortly after they first met that she was intimidated by him because he was so good-looking. Since Doug favors Brad so much, perhaps that was an issue.

I recall Chris H. saying before the season started filming that he thought Emily needed someone just like Brad - I think he added something like a Southern gentleman. I guess Sean comes closest to meeting that.
