The Golden Bachelorette - Joan Vassos - Media - SM - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

The best part of this show is the bromance! I think guys just don't have as many close friends as women and that's why they are so supportive of each other. They cheer each other on, build each other up and are as cute as can be. I love both Charles L and Gary - nice and kind men. As Charles said, he came looking for love and found it in the most unexpected way!

As for Chock and Joan, clearly he is her F1. I gained some insight into him when he told Joan he needed her to help him open up - Joan loves to take care of people, she'll do so with Chock and, in turn, he'll put her on a pedestal - which is where she had been with her husband.

Oh I was wondering why nobody was commenting about the episode and now I see it's in this thread.

I was watching some of it and feel bad for the guys that left as they were super sweet.

I was so sad to see Charles L go home even though I knew he wasn't going to be Joan's type. He's such a sweet man!

@albean99 Thanks for posting the article on Charles post-elimination. I envision him living in a neighborhood where everyone lights up when they see him as his hello is so genuine. I can imagine him doing nice things for his neighbors because that is just who he is. I hope he has lots of candy to share on Halloween as there will be people coming to his house to meet him and say thanks for brightening up our screen during the GB!

An good interview with Pascal. Very interesting what he thinks about Chock and about moving issues for the cast which we had previously brought up.

@Sprite thanks for sharing that Glamour article. I highly encourage all to read it. VERY interesting comments about Chock. I also find it interesting that Pascal hasn't seen an increase in his business since being on the show nor have any sponsors contacted him. He'd be perfect.

That was pretty interesting, @Sprite. I have to agree with him about Chock. How he handled himself on the bowling date definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I do wonder if he will get more business now that his HTD was aired although a lot may be like me - unwilling to pay that much for a haircut.

Unrelated to Pascal, did you all notice Joey on the MTA talking to Mark? I'm very curious about what's that about. Do you think Mark is still in the running for GB?

@albean99 I hadn't noticed Joey talking with Mark, but it doesn't surprise me he would be there. He is still very much in the mix on DWTS and could very well win the whole thing. It's an ABC show and they do like to cross pollinate. Easy in this instance since Mark has been on DWTS in the audience supporting Joey and Joey is engaged to Mark's daughter. Also, tptb usually like to have several possible leads lined up for the next season so it wouldn't surprise me if Mark, Pascal, Jonathan or Guy would all be in the mix.

I just watched the preview for the MTA again and Joey was hugging Mark. We wouldn't normally see the previous Bachelor in this situation, although they do have a connection. This is probably the first season that I'm more interested in the tell all than the rest of the season.

I really liked Pascal's idea of having the Golden shows for a specific city. That would make so much sense! I guess the drawback would be if they wanted someone who didn't live in a major city.
