@whatchamacallit
Great post. A very nice insight. I blame this season on casting a not readyh man who is mourning the loss of his career and clearly was not ready to find a wife.

@nikikass but what if he did make a choice in say Lyndsey and they are happy together. Doesn't that mean that he was or at least could be ready to make a decision for himself and what would make him happy?

You might be right on the bold, but I have to ask, is every guy or gal for that matter really ready to be a husband or wife. I have raised boy and girls which are all adults, it is my experience, my boys weren't ready. My oldest (step-son) had lived with his girlfriend for 10 years because he wasn't ready to take full responsibility as a husband (the paper/license was his issue). They have been married for 7 years and very committed but it took him longer. He is 39 years old and sometimes still acts like a teenager. Then I have my son who is 27 years old and has been married for 4 years. He was knocked off his feet when he meets his wife. In less then a month he invited her to the holidays and knew he was going to marry her. They were married 9 months later and are so in love and it works. So, totally two different men and situation. I would say my son at 23 wasn't ready to find a wife, but man when he found her he became ready really fast.

Very interesting on the bold. I would love to know why you think Chris' is a momma's boy. Just because he respects his parents opinion or guidance makes him a momma boy?
Urban dictionary meaning:
1) A grown male still dependent on his mother.
2) A grown male who allows or desires his mother to control most aspects or decisions of his life for him.
I do not see any indication that Chris' is dependent on his mother, he traveled all over with baseball and I don't see in the MTP episode where she controlled him. She was encouraging him and giving advise. I have three sons and I don't think I would call my boys "momma boys" just because they love me and respect my opinion JMO.

@4health I agree with you.
I think we also have to consider that he's been away from the real world for an extended period of time, he's struggling with his thoughts, he's super vulnerable at this point in the journey, and then he gets a small window of time with his mom. I doubt he ever thought he would cry on national tv, the situation just brewed that response. If anything I think it's awesome that he has such a good relationship with his mom.

@watchamacallit I have advised my girls to watch how their boyfriends treat their mothers, that is a great indication of how they will treat you.

Great post. Nothing tells us Chris is a momma’s boy, IMO. We know she told him more than we saw but, I can tell from the way she approaches their discussion that she respects him. As his mother, she is fully entitled to give him her opinion, tho. IMO.

So true, @Aunties_love. I can't put aside him saying ( and Lindsey, too) that he wanted to be engaged only once, so hopefully if he does propose it shows people that he was indeed ready and willing..One good thing is it's not gonna be as long now as it has been until we will all know what he decided to do.
@4health I agree with your post, also. Chris never did one thing that made me think he was a Momma's Boy..Yes, he showed that he has much love and respect for her and his dad, too. He has a great set of parents to look up to. IMHO more men need to be like he is with his parents. Your sons sounds adorable. ; )

Don't see a moms boy at all either, that's a bit over the top for sure..going on a show like this I bet it's hard for anyone. You don't really know till your in it how your emotions are going to be.

Just a question...
For those of you who have watched other Bachelor shows, I noticed that we haven't seen any previews or pictures of the women at the FRC. I don't know if I'm recalling correctly but I think that they did show both men during Jasmine's season.
Has this ever happened before?
