For sure and if you notice, in all the interviews where Noah had to accompany him they make it all about how much Chris grew on the journey. Nothing about a love story.

Yah, he even looked to Noah for answers. He must have screwed up on a couple of prior interviews. Lol!!

Yea that boy was not made for a show like this , that's for sure. Maybe in about five years. Lol

Mikeala on IG today post this girl spoken for and showed a beautiful engagement ring. Not sure what that was about but she does like to flirt around like that could have been her friends too.

I’m definitely a minority around here ... because I kinda liked this season. I found this season to be “real”. I found Chris to be a mature man who was looking for those he was most compatible with as well as physically attracted to. He didn’t buy into the drama and let Shonti go and Im pretty sure Brittany beat him to the punch and left before he sent her home. I didn’t find him to be a player and probably why so many here found him boring. I thought he tried to treat them all fairly as he really cared about there feelings, while still trying to stay within the constraints of the show and his obligations as the lead. H reminded me a lot of Brad 1.0 ... thoughtfully going through the process, and maybe overthinking it to much, trying to literally find a wife, when the reality of this show is to just find the one you’d like to date in the real world. This show ending in a proposal really messes with the minds of the honesthearted IMO, I think It should end with just a final rose. I found Chris to be honest as best he could due to filming rules.

With the exception of Shonti and Brittany, I liked all the other girls and it seems like they all liked each other . on Wnetwork site I watched some videos of the girls playing Volleyball, playing charades and the dishwasher incident... they had a lot of laughs and were obviously close. Maybe it made for a “boring” season, but to me it was how a group of mature adults should act during this process.

Love this. You articulated very well what I couldn't express. I am actually truly invested in this season.  Apparently the finale will be shocking and dramatic (not sure whether to take their word for it though) but I think the best at this point imo will be for all 3 involved to emerge on the other side largely unscathed with no one looking bad. Of course, a happy couple will be a bonus

A lot of what you said i agree with. The girls were all great. They all acted maturely. There really was no unnecessary drama (that wast manufactured)

The lead did go about the process correctly. He was a nice gentleman that didnt want to hurt anyone’s feelings and saw the best of each girl.

But his actions were so Robotic, he has no charisma, he stumbled on words and he had no TV personality. He was AWFUL IMO . It was like they thought his base ball status would do for the audience and had no training on being on TV. Most leads are prepped for sometime on this.

He totally ruined this season for me for his lack of professionalism on camera. They made him look like dumb.

Too bad because the girls were way more camera ready than he was.

I found Chris to be handsome and charming. I did not find him awkward on camera, with the girls, IMO. I believe he was authentic and a very typical professional jock who has spent a lifetime dedicated to his sport. That makes him younger and less experienced than his 33 years would lead one to believe, IMO. He was not a good communicator (many men are not) and overplayed flattery and reassurance sometimes when he should have just said “you are a lot of fun”, “you’re even smarter than I thought” or, “you’re pretty unique” or just more innocuous statements. As a result, Dee and Catie were good examples of girls whose expectations were much too high but we didn’t see enough to know why, IMO.
A man with serious trust issues is not going to turn his heart over to a girl he’s known for a few weeks, IMO. However, we will see next week and I’m looking forward to it.

i think dee was totally loco to expect him to give her reinsurance when 14 girls were still in the house and it was just a week they met each other. catie was totally loco to expect him to be the guy the psychic mentioned because he is blond and named chris. she made a fixation that was him and talk and talk and talk and talk... i am not sure she truly understood the meaning of listening regardless what she said at WTA. she is a chatty box to the nth degree and this is exhausting to listen so being around? I cannot imagine. sweet girl yes, OTT heck yeah
chris fell for 2 girls. period. that is that. but because this was a complete new experience, i have no doubt his handler taught him pre-made sayings to give to the girls. his role was to lie to 18 girls..... fact. yes he liked some more than others but only a minority and those were always on the friend zone with benefices of kisses. a woman remain a woman. if a guy kisses her, gives her compliments, especially in this kind of bubble... OF COURSE she will make her own scenario that he fell for her. the girl has nothing but talking and thinking about the guy. there is a reason why they do not have cellulars! they need to create this love bubble. because if they had a touch of reality, they would not fall for the guy that fast.

now i agree that chris was not mentally 33 but more like 25. however his reality check was coming back in toronto with nothing. no job, no serious girlfriend that he could move on to fiance and wife, no friends or far away still playing baseball and those in toronto maybe married with kids... the only thing he could rely imo was his family with a brother, married with kid. But one thing I think we all have in common on this board is to believe he was not ready to do such gig. But I believe he was genuine in his search. I will also add that he did not find his soulmate either. When we know, we know. his father knew the first day and IMO he could not but make a comparison. Not ending alone was not a good reason to pick someone. I hope he picked nobody. but with the handler/crew/bubble pushing to pick someone for good TV... i have doubts.

anyway. base on their respective IG. I have the feeling that everyone is in a relationship. the only one still bitter IMO is Lindsey. I think Mikaela moved on with no regrets since she had the time to realize he was not the one. Lindsey was more upset because her ex cheated on her and she was blindsided with Chris. She did not have the same closure as mikaela IMO. Chris moved on with buying a house, setting himself in Toronto, do flip house with friends, took the time he should have taken when he retired. today i see him at peace. no more pressure.

I think Lindsey is okay. It was probably extremely hard on her to see the edits of her family but also the public reaction, regardless if they acted like azzz it is her family and it is normal that she protects and defends them. and now she has to face IMO POSSIBLY MAYBE POTENTIALLY PROBABLY her rejection at F2 and get all the emotions back and running.... regardless if she does not love him anymore, it must be still hurtful..... she may have cut his face on the picture with her granddad, and maybe watching the episodes (it must be hard to do not watch them IMO. i think i would be too curious to know the edits and remove the band aid once and for all and move on... those contestants who truly did not watch the episodes, i applaud them... I hope she did not watch).

all those people will be fine or are fine... bitter probably, upset to re-live it the emotions now, probably. but 6 months passed. everyone went to their own direction. they had this experience and they all learn something out of it. to be naive is not aways good in life. to have doubts and question is a good thing. to continue to live in lalaland like catie... not so much IMO

I’ve been going that preview and I what really stands out is Mik saying she wants to confront Chris about his feeling s for Lindsey. I commented about that yesterday and it seems no one else here thinks that significant

This is the big finale preview .... Linds get a bike ride... kisses and serious conversation....and she having doubts ... we see a PI where she has more doubts .... Mik says before her LCD that she wants to confront Chris about his feelings for Lindsey ... seems she’s not happy with his answer and walks away ... Chris may or may not follow her as we can’t tell where he’s going after that. Then a VO that could have been recorded either right after Mik leaves or possibly day of FRC ... he says she’s angry but he can’t change what happened ...only one who’s angry is Mik, so its her he’s talking about ... my gut says that when Chris was asked how he felt about Lindsey ... he might have told her the honest truth ... that he loved her.

Then in another VO he says he hopes its not to late ... I think he’s talking about Lindsey ... and he’s hoping she’ll even show up at FRC ... I also don’t thnk we’ll see Mik at FRC as I thnk she left on LCD.


OR

Lindsey doesn’t show up at FRC but MIk does and like RS says ... he chooses her but they break up soon after as neither of their hearts are in it.

I also have drawn the conclusion that Lindsey was way more emotionally invested in Chris than Mik was. All season Linds has gotten emotional when talking about him, about it being last time she’d see him, in the orchard after meeting grampa etc. Mik I find was more in bubble love with him .... and got over him real quick. Lindsey on the other hand seems to still either be I love or feels hurt by it all.
