Personally I think Mak and Linds have some similarities but Chris said they were very different. I do think he is invested to a degree with each. That in itself I see as problematic because he thinks they are very different so IMO that is a type of red flag that neither is a good match because he needs the “right” characteristics each possess - basically a different woman who has that combination. 
Another possible red flag for me was when he told his mom he realized he had let some good women get away in the past. That’s ok if he means that he has learned and this time isn’t going shy away. However, if his reminiscing means he has met others that were potentially more compatible then that’s not a good outcome for the show. 

I do see pros and cons to each of his showmances. Found myself unable to invest.

what is it that he was supposed to learn with his parents? I think this the premise of the finale.

dad said that geography should not be a problem but in reality it is a problem..... step back  from chris about moving in vancouver

dad said that he is too old for long distance relationship..... step back from chris and decided to change his pattern... no more long distance

dad said that he always find difficult relationships....... step back from chris with all the bumps on the road with lindsey... age, family, distance, livestyle

chris said that he always wanted his parents close if he had kids..... step back from chris if he moved to vancouver, no such thing

IMO his parents gave him the clarity he was looking for.

and that for me is finale proof that he was never in love with lindsey.... or he would have bypassed all that and proposed.... and i am 99.99% he will not do that.

From his mom....step forward and correct your past by making the commitment, making the changes in yourself, don't be afraid to fall in love and then from the dad....just commit. Just make the changes one last time. See from the conversation from the dad, IMO, Chris told him that Lyndsey is who he wants. That's why the dad said ok, make the changes, make the sacrifice one last time and commit. Meaning, IMO, choose Lyndsey cause you love her, move to Vancouver and make it work. In the past yea he had the long distance relationships cause he was tied to his career of moving around everywhere. Now he can commit to Lyndsey, move to the same town as her and that will be the last sacrifice, make it work and then no more problems. Hell, it's only a four hour flight.....not like he's going to tim-buck-to and now adays so many families have the same thing happening. He's going to make a future with someone that he obviously loves.IMO

I have been here reading but not posting much.  But, the teaser is just that a tease!   IMO the edit is trying to tell us something but not tell you at the same time.   It happens every season and we then look back and say oh yeah that makes sense now.    

Re-watching the teaser and also during the re-watching of episodes in the past I have made the mistake of taking what is being said in VO as the truth.   So, watching this teaser we can't take what is being said in a VO as truth (edited in to make it seem like it's truth).  

The teaser transcribed:

PI "maybe about him" - Lyndsey on her LCD wearing a blue tank on the beach, which we see her wearing on the bike with Chris and sitting with Chris.  We don't know if this was said before/during/after Chris' talking about moving or before/during/after Lyndsey's sad look as Chris and her heads touching scene.  She is crying like in other scene.

Voiceover - "I don't know what the connection with Lyndsey is

Voice over - "but I really want to confront him today and kind of see

PI - "What he has to say"  Mikaela in the conservative top, she is not upset when she says this.

In the above screenshot, it seems brighter more daylight IMO

VO "Excuse me is that a joke?" - Mikaela
VO "No that wasn't a joke."  IMO it does not sound like Chris' IMO it could very well be a handler/interviewer during a PI but they added it here.  We don't know?

PI "that's an unbelievable thing to say at a time like this." - Mikaela in the screenshot, once again this could be Mikaela reacting to the joke comment during an PI interview waiting for Chris' to arrive, we don't know.  These conversations or overlay of voiceover are so manipulated that it can make you think the exact opposite of what truly happens on the finale.  


VO - "I am just really confused right now." while showing Chris and Lyndsy on LCD on the beach and the voice over continues
"I have been upfront with him from the beginning. - both voice overs are Lyndsey.

VO - "I was so excited about having a future together" - Mikaela

PI "but he just ruined it" - Mikaela

PI "I makes me question everything" - Lyndsey in the same interview room as Mikaela and her arriving in Mexico.  If this was after the finale she would be in a limo.   If this is where she decides to walk away why does she have beautiful makeup on and hair all done?  



VO "I am more confused than ever" - Mikaela the screenshot below she is on the beach not in the backyard or place where Chris' and her talk.   Did she walk down to the beach before/after the talk?  This voiceover could have been when she was in the limo to leave? This could have been put there from past comments like the time she was confused about Chris' toast before CP.  

VO "this is the hardest situation I have ever been in" - Mikaela



We don't know when all these words were spoken, but tptb decided to place them with these scenes to tell us a story not necessarily a true story.  

Chris and Mik drama scenes shown not voiceover just music.

PI "I don't' want to do this right now," - Lyndsey upset in her blue tank on the beach from LCD date.

Watching this teaser and transcribing the words and seeing where the edit cut is and voices I am staying planted with my gut and Lyndsey will be F1 IMO

It has been the Lyndsey and Chris love story from the beginning **IMO**with all there obstacles and still trying to work through it. So if the RS spoiler is wrong I do believe we will see Lyndsey at the end. Mikeala unfortunately is F2 no mater if he picks her and spoiler is right I believe that has been and will be his second choice jmo

Could the vo ( I understand why she's mad ) could that be when he lets Mikeala go into limo that has not been shown yet jmo

LCD with Lyndsey you still see there passion for one another even if they are talking about hard things. The more I watch I just see this love and passion for those two. It's hard to think that was all not real. You just don't rest your head on each other like that without real emotions. Jmo

@4health Yes, the edit between Mikaela saying - "I don't know what the connection with Lyndsey is" and "but I really want to confront him today and kind of see" is very obvious. Her voice doesn't even sound the same, so IMO she may not be confronting him over Lyndsey.

I think it is Chris saying "No that wasn't a joke", but if it is a producer/handler, then IMO she’s a goner.

Thanks @4health. Really awesome to see it laid out like that. I do agree with what you are saying as far as Mik being let go and is the F2. IMO, the edit that we have seen this season with Chris and Lynds has been all about their love story. That is what this season has been about IMO.

I've been following along for the season, but just decided to make an account...so hi everybody!

My $0.02...
What I'm seeing is a struggle between Lyndsey, and Chris himself. I personally don't see Mik as part of the equation here. Don't get me wrong, I think he genuinely liked her and was attracted to her, had a great time with her, but I think he knew all along she was not F1.

I know for us as viewers there are a lot of factors that come into play, mainly being the overall editing, and trying to anticipate the story the prods want us to see, plus the edits for sole purpose of throwing us off the trail. IMO, Chris is emotionally quite young and really hasn't been a great lead because he lacks the charisma and depth of character for this role. What I've seen has been pretty black and white- he's all about Lyndsey and his body language and eyes speak for themselves. I think even with editing they have had a hard time distracting from that. I wouldn't be surprised if the spoiler from RS was planted by the prods to give the season a little spice and throw a wrench in the obvious visual. I think Chris picked Lyndsey as the F1 early on, got in his head, started thinking about the logistics, likely considered that it is crazy to "pick" a wife from a group of 20 women over an extremely short period, and started to wonder if he really wanted to go ahead with it. I think the personal struggle that ensued caused him to be selfish about his own life (which seems perfectly legit to me given the premise of the show and the time line!) My guess is Mik was F2, and Lyndsey was F1 but rejected him because she got the sense he hadn't been authentic (which I believe to be true!) and I think they all went their separate ways.

As a side note, I think all the lead has to go on is a physical connection/chemistry. There is no possible way they can emotionally and intellectually connect on a deep enough level to establish a foundation for an engagement in that short of a time. So, even analytically, it makes sense that they go with the one they are most physically attracted to. IMO, the physical connection has to be strong for them to be open to even dipping a toe in the real emotional components of a relationship.

I think Chris is a good guy, meant well, but didn't realize what he was getting himself into. I think it forced him to grow and find some pieces of himself, and ironically helped him discover this isn't how he wants to meet his wife.

Chris seemed solemn and uninterested at the WTA, as many of you have suggested, I think he is just ready for it to be over and put it all behind him. The girls seem to have found great friendship in each other but I do get the sense of a "chicks over dicks" group mentality. It will be interesting to find out how everything went down!

Chris is a momma's boy and will probably listen to her...didn't she say that maybe he will find ONE person that has the qualities of both Lyndsey and Mikaela.
