My point exactly. None of us knows any of them...maturity, sexuality or who is ready for what. We can only speculate.  All I know are the patterns that I have seen over the years in the edits and I certainly have not seen Chris analyzing the stats for Mik and Lyndsay...unless he has been checking their measurements.

@Sprite. Too true. IMO, because we don't personally know any of them, we can only speculate. With the editing patterns over the years, then taking into account how bachcan does things a little more true to the love story angle than other franchises, IMO, the love story from night one has been with Lyndsey....IMO

The x-factor and the butterflies reference to me is usually what the F1 gets referred to having. That is Lyndsey in this case. The x-factor is something that Chris has mentioned and is glowing at it as well. IMO, the whole season has been about Chris and Lyndsey's story. Of how Chris will be with Lyndsey in the end.

Not @tatladylu, but according to https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/x-factor it's "an unknown or unexplained element that makes something more interesting or valuable"....so not necessarily sexual, but can be applied to that as well and I know I have used it in that way.

Tatladylu never said he had a dozen long distance relationships, she simply used the plural...which is the case since he stated he had two.

As for butterflies, again according to https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/butterflies they refer to "tremors in the stomach region due to nervousness" so I guess being with her makes him nervous which is typical in the early stages of attraction.

I guess, when you take all those things into consideration, while Chris may not necessarily be thinking about sex when he is awake thinking about Lyndsay....although, I don't think it would necessarily be a stretch...she is keeping him awake because he is thinking about her and the butterflies she is giving him and that X factor that she has. Not that different than most people when they are interested in someone.

I agree with the bolded. To me, it's quite obvious that he'd been thinking about Lyndsey for a long time. I look back to group dates since epi 2 and he absolutely beams when he's talking about her. All in all, I'd say that he's been gaga over her for a very long time.

See, what I hear from him is the stuff that my siblings have gone through with their sons. We smile cuz one of my nephews talks about what a knock out this girl is, how she does it for him (that X factor) and how he is gaga over her (can't think straight, she's always on his mind.

So Chris said this very same thing. He said that he thought of Lyndsey all the time , that she's a knock out, that he's gaga over her (can't sleep at night, has this thing - X factor, butterflies).

So for me, all these things tells me that he wants her bad and of course, sexually.

And yes, we're all individuals but I don't find him unique compared to other young men in the way he feels about Lyndsey .

So if Mikeala and Chris are in this love story from the beginning 1) why would she ask about ( Lyndsey) if what they have is so special 2) if they adored each other and where so in love why would it only last one week or even if it lasted two weeks. Ok that does not convince me that she is F1 until the very last moment and Mikeala is willing to stand up there and take the chance to be the last one standing. Hmm can't really see that. But I do believe she pushed the relationship for front by making the first move and did that through out the season. So sure she can be F1 she's bright, beautiful, funny , has good career , shows us all the right things, maybe just maybe he devolved strong feelings for her even love. But really I just can't believe something that's so for front like some suggest would be short lived like at least you would give it six months if they felt that strong in that relationship. So to me I think his F1was Lyndsey all along but for what ever reason if they are not the last two standing it is not because they didn't develop a love story. Jmo

Just saying that if all Chris was thinking with little Chris why wouldn't he have begged Britney to stay if that's all he thought with she would be a perfect match for little Chris jmo

No matter how confident you are in your relationship, it's normal to have doubts and to wonder about the other relationships he's developing. 2) Because you can care about someone, even love them, but if you're not in the right space in life, if you're not ready to give and accept love, if you run from commitment, the relationship won't work out no matter how deep the feelings are, and that's the place where I think Chris is and was during the process. I think the relationship with Mik lasted longer than a week, but I don't think they're currently together. Honestly I don't even understand how anyone who's a fan of either girl would want them with Chris. I'm a fan of Mikaela (though I have no negative feelings about Lyndsey) and I really hope she's single because this guy doesn't deserve either of these women tbh. All Chris has going for him is that he's cute, he's nice, and he's not broke (I think). Like, that's not a catch, that's the absolute bare minimum and my bar's a little higher. He's shown little regard this entire season to the feelings of the women, he's recited the same lines to multiple women, he lulls them into a false sense of security then rips the rug out from under them emotionally, and he's a total commitment phobe. I think both women should run away as fast as they can All Jmo.

Exactly my opinion, too. ( per the highlighted )  I'm not a "Fan" of either girl as I'm a little too old to be fangirling. However, I think either one of these girls deserve better than what Chris is offering them at the moment and I don't even think he's that hot. If he did indeed get to pick one ( and they didn't both walk) I hope he didn't propose. He is so not ready for that at this point in his life no matter how many times he tries to say he is.

IMO if he hedged his bet on moving I can see Lindsey walking and I hope she did. He should have never laid it out there that he was willing to move if that wasn't the case..I can't think of anything that would keep Mik from riding that train to the end tho as she has played every card she knew how to to get her to the end.

Which makes me think about @Pinkgirl's first question and if I'm remembering correctly she said she was gonna "confront" him about something which led me to think it was his feelings for Lindsey. Since when do they get to "confront' the lead about something? The same as them bribing them to talk to them first right out of the limo...I can see one of them saying they needed to talk to him about something important, but "confronting" them?? A little OTT IMO, but then she has been all season IMO..

Even if he went by how the edit has been all season and picked Lindsey I don't see that working out long term either. IMHO it would have been in both girl's best interest and them said it's been fun, but I've got to run. Oh well, we will all know before long and then we can move on to Arie as he's up next. May he have thick skin and all his skeletons in his closets locked up tight.. Just kidding.

I was waiting part II to truly think the same but the teaser and mikaela comments about flip flopper during the podcast say it all. Part I could have been some great editing as prods love to do and I am still convinced that to a certain extend it was edited to bring confusion and drama to a somewhat obvious (for me) love story with Mikaela.

But Chris was not in a good place emotionally last march. If you are ever interested, for me this article published March 21, 2017 told me a lot about his mindset when he started the show. His retirement was fresh and he was totally upset and bitter on how his carer ended. This is why, I think, I excused him a lot about his behavior because I find it incredibly sad to retire in this conditions considering all the sacrifices he had to do even if it was his passion and lucky to live it.When I went on the dark side, it was mainly to read the SM. I was also in chock about Lindsey multiple blogs about "happy to be single" she posted from the finale up to september 2017 and the lack of bach related post on her IG. That was NOT the attitude of a happy F1. I am not also convince that she was not  ready to settle down at all. she went there for few weeks as she told her mom and fell in love with a guy instead. And then we had Mikaela who was posting many bach related, retweeting kissing clips from the franchise, and looked very much happy (with the exception of july-august). So for me to pick Mikaela as F1 on top of the sleuthing I made was an easy step.

But now that I have watched Chris with the girls. I know he was not ready to settle down. I believe he was very lonely last march. I believe he was a lost puppy not knowing what to do with his life and accepted the gig as a delay or a diversion. He was not mentally prepared to find his one. He was not mentally prepared to this emotional roller coaster of estrogen and progesterone. I do not blame him to use pre-made cheesy answers at times with the girls. He was immersed in an unusual sitation surrendered by professionals in this franchise who know how to manipulate people... he was an easy target Mio. As I said, he was interested with 2 girls and everyobody else were a mandatory burden he had to carry on week after week because it is the nature of the beast.

However I totally disagree to say Mikaela was a second choice. He just could not accept the "too good to be true" and was not ready for it. The scenario I see on the pirate boat is not a flip flopper. It is a man who is sabotaging what could have been a beautiful story because he could not open up before. Everything came at once. It was as if his discussion with his mom opened the waterfall of his emotions and he had no idea how to deal with them. To open a cap of a shaked soda bottle... that is what he made me think. a mess.

He cared for both girls but I truly think that once he reach the hometown, he had this wake up reality call. Everything rushed to his mind that was not a Club Med at all and poop became real. Somehow prods convinced him or he convinced himself that the finale was his only last option in life to find a wife. He got totally confused and could not handle it. So I am a bit more mellow about him because like many people before him, he got stuck in the bubble until he was not and this is when analytic skeptic cold feet chris showed up.

I think he is a nice guy. I think he was kind with meghan and I think he was also kind with catie OTT personality. But everyone could see he was not into them. Did he used premade sayings yes. But the girls spent few hours with him altogether, why blame him if the girls thought after few convesations they were the one? The only one that he could have handle it maybe differently was Catie but geeez Catie was a chatter box and did not listen at all. Was he to blame if she set her mind that he was the chris the psychic talked about? it takes two to tango... it is like Dee reproaching him to be away from her daughter when it was HER choice to participate to the show, nobody else.

anyway. as I said for me the only one truly ready was Mikaela. I strongly believe Lindsey was not ready and Chris was definitely not ready either.

Chris will be a great catch when he will be secure about his life, have a job or another passion that motivate him to wake up every morning. Opposite attracts. I am sure all 3 will find their shoe at the right time. For me it was not a good timing for any of them.
