Then what is their purpose in inviting production to their home and lives and over and over? They must like it IMO.

It probably isn't the right place to discuss this, but if you watch her season you'll probably have a better idea why. She's a little OTT about it IMO, though.

@Cila51290 can you post that please? Thanks. IMO something I found weird was nobody noticed or if they did they didn't post it was that during the ATFR Nick sat there and was either rubbing her leg or rubbing her hand with his thumb any time that he wasn't talking with his hands.

2 words: their son.
4 words: they love their son.
I do a lot of things I don't like or want to do for my children. Sometimes parents have to do that.
It's also ok as a parent to make limits and say enough. There have been cast who have not had family members involved in the antics. That's ok too. I think I might take a pass if it had been me.
ETA my comments above were not based on the Vialls. I have never spoken to any of them. They were based on other cast families.

Yeah well their kiddo is pushing 40 and appearing for a 4th time searching for love on ABC prime time   So much delusion if they did it for love and not because they like it and enjoy the hoopla and BS that follows this show IMO. But IMO they like it and want more of it just like him.

What are they gonna do? Tell him no? Even if his family did talk to him about concerns, etc., he's a grown man who makes his own choices.

Both are impulsive and stubborn...but, there are such things as couples' flaws complementing each other...as long as there's deep love and care between the two anything is possible...

When Nick is stubborn, Vanessa would yield... when Vanessa wants to plan things out, Nick would yield, thus them coming up with the pros and cons discussions on the table...

When Vanessa is impulsive and emotional, Nick would come in to give Vanessa her assurances...when Nick is impulsive and makes a bad decision, Vanessa would call him out, discusses and listens to his reasons on why he is doing such...

I think when they talk about being impulsive, they also refer to bluntness...of which both of them are...with some adjustments, knowing what the other persons like or dislike they'll be able to get used to each other...

For all what I can see...with love, honesty, open communications, patience, understanding, respect, kindness, trust, passion, and compassion...of which both of them have for each other...even climbing the highest mountain or toddling/trailing down a small hill will be achievable for them, if they are willing to work it out...

I'm actually only liking the previous initial quote - Kashathediva's quote...

I don't think the family really wants to be exposed to the limelight, but since their son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Vanessa, are in such environments, and are being attacked caused by unnecessary drama. I think it is human instincts for the family (parents and siblings) to protect them...even so since the product outcomes have been so unnatural, but are triggered by unsolicited opinions, causing cyber bullying and an avalanche of hate in SM and in the press...

I can't and won't blame them for the action...

I would just like to know how the Vials love the attention ? They support their son with unconditional love , they stay off SM that had anything to do with Nick , and they do not talk trash about anyone I know. Nick is very luck that he has family that that supports him . I think it is great that Vanessa will be so welcomed in this great family that Nick has. JMO
