Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - Discussion

I hate to think 36 is pushing 40. LOL (where's my walker? probably the same place I left my hearing aid--dammit.)
BTW--it's his 5th time counting DWTS, but whose counting?
Ooops he won't be searching for love this time. Or will he? I can't wait for that discussion to come up.
(thank god I found my walker...it was next to my new box of depends)

  I think Kaitlyn has been among one of the people who have dish the TB for being unrealistic due to immense focus on drama, not caring about whom they will be throwing under the bus...

  I think regardless of what has happened to Nick in the past, his respect to TPTB has been intact up until now...maybe he has had enough of it since TPTB has been going overboard creating and drumming negativities to his fiance and their relationship...

ITA! The Vialls have been supportive without being OTT IMO. I can only imagine the horror that would have ensured if Nick had MM as his mom.

I actually don't think the Vialls love attention. To me they seemed over it when they met the f2 and even more so now that he's engaged.

I don't think the Vialls love the attention either. They support Nick, and are part of the show because of him, he's not out there committing crimes, so why not support him. But I'm making a wild guess, that they're fed up with it all, and are hoping this is really the hea for Nick. JMO.

Nah. I've got it on good authority from people that know his family well that they were very opposed to each of his appearances. The opposition increased with each round. They didn't want to put themselves out there like that. There are 11 siblings, and when that happens there is bound to be some things there that they don't necessarily want to expose- things his siblings have gone through in their personal lives. They didn't want the spotlight. They didn't want their son/brother to keep getting rejected like that on national television.

When my brother broke up with his long term gf last summer, my mom took it so hard. I can't imagine how upset she'd be to see him go through rejection like Nick has on national television. I imagine that's how Mrs. Viall must feel. Like his brother said in the finale, Nick has had a dark cloud of saddness and rejection surrounding him for a couple years now. His bro was most hoping with this time, that cloud would go away.

I think the Vialls were very nonchalant with Raven.

With Vanessa, the parents especially were very emotional like this is it I hope this works out for Nick. They KNEW, IMO.
