Vanessa Grimaldi - Bachelor 21 - *Sleuthing Spoilers* #3

I think announcing the Bachelorette now is because like with Nick they have came up with a new tactic regarding casting. Plus *maybe* the story will allow now for more obvious Nissa interaction/time as I think they are getting ready to drive home the main theme they went with this season of "Will Nick get rejected?" At that point it isn't about who is F1 but more whether Nick proposes to her and does she give him that elusive 'Yes!'. JMO

Maybe ABC will reward Nick with a spot on DWTS. See how a good boy he's in the latest media round? He had nothing but praises for Rachel the next lead.

I don't see why Vanessa would be bothered by this news. It's not like Vanessa was trying to become The Bachelorette and Rachel landed the position. Nick seems happy about the news based on his social media likes. I'm sure Vanessa isn't jumping for joy or anything, but neither am I honestly. I doubt this affects Nick and Vanessa besides them possibly getting asked about Rachel being The Bachelorette in interviews after the finale.

I think Vanessa is probably estatic that Rachel got the gig. Nick was very loose with his praises for Rachel during the media rounds. If he knew Vanessa was slightly bitter towards anything, I think he would've restrained a tad bit with the praises. JMO

I said it in the episode thread when everything else was locked that the pic Vanessa posted on IG of her and Nick in Bimini was one that looked like a real life couple just out on a date night. No random roses being displayed or oranges in mouth or fantasy helicopter rides, just two people out for dinner enjoying one another IMO. The American and Canadian flags at the end of the post was a cute touch!

My second runner-up for Best Dressed is Vanessa in her maxi from the same Group Date...

That color! That slit! My only complaint here is that we didn't see more of this dress (I almost missed it entirely). She looks feminine and va-va-voom, yet somehow also beachy. Vanessa's "Sheena" dress is by Boohoo, also comes in black, and is still available at an incredible $25 (!).

So i dislike how they announced rachel already because that ruins the show for us even tho we know the winner already. Just the show has a different vibe now and they are ready to begin filming in 2-3 weeks ? thats fast.

but on the other note how cute was vanessa and nick, people think their conversation went south but i think nick doesn't want to do what ben did and say " i love you " to 2 girls and then mess up, so when nick said  "i really really like you" thats his way of saying i love you but she wanted him to say i love you. I think he did a good job saying it without actually saying it. You can just tell how he looked at her and how happy they were.

I saw that too. He was trying hard to contain any expression of mutual reciprocation.
