Unfortunately for me, my own pet peeve has me picking up some scenes/behaviors that I've found annoying and suggestive that she comes off as wanting to be the center of attention, hyper-emotional, whiny, entitled and dramatic. Hopefully, we shall see something very different in the next episode.

Different strokes for different folks. I'd say the bolded to me is actually how I view Corrine.

This. It's why every season you will have some who loved the lead with one person versus another and truly felt like they saw the love story with that couple versus the other.

All opinions are welcome in this thread as long as they are within Forum Rules. Please feel free to express any viewpoint within allowed bounds.

Even with this choppy editing, I can see the little things between these two.

Her crying was only reflected through statements she has made with the viewers...these are akin to me as her talking to herself trying to express her emotions...nothing has been shown so far on her expressing these feelings to Nick during their conversations or to anybody else...thus, I cannot see them as her being entitled or whiny...I actually find it real since she has invested feelings for him...her insecurities or jealousy may have been peaking out a bit...which is quite natural for people who are in love...

I dont know why but I'm not liking her as much as I thought I would. Something off putting that I can't put my finger on. I haven't really liked her since her 1 on 1 date (which I loved).

V is a little impulsive but I think Nick likes that "raw" quality in her. I think her frustrations with the process and a little alcohol made her a little more loose-lipped during the v-ball date. She certainly isn't afraid to tell N how she is feeling and that kind of catharsis can make for awesome relationships.
We have seen some dimensions with her. She and Dani have a she-mance of sorts. It's like D is her Nick fill-in at the moment.
I thought it was kind of odd how they left in the edit V telling the girls the fun little fact about St. Thomas. The girls seemed preoccupied with other things and you could hear crickets. But it highlighted to me her nerdy quality & her maturity, however zany and outspoken she may be sometimes.

In my opinion we have seen so little of Vanessa that it's hard to grasp on who she really is. Their 1 on 1 was excellent and I think that's who Vanessa truly is as a person. The other little times tptb have shown of her does not erase the person I saw with Nick back on episode 3. JMO

I know what you mean. For me, it's not that I don't like her- maybe it's just that she is a little different than I was expecting? She is a little more loud and goofy than I thought she would be. She does remind me a lot of my 100% Italian best friend who is the extrovert ying to my introvert yang. Sometimes annoying, but always passionate and 100% real

So far, I like Nick around her the most- they seem to soften each other somewhat. I'm curious to see how it develops from here.

@agentcurls nice comment thanks for sharing! I totally agree that Nick likes her impulsiveness and outspokenness

regarding the scene where she was sharing a fact about St. Tomas - did you notice some of the girls' faces? she was getting a side eye and the way she was talking started with something like "here is one fact that I know!...." like she was showing off...

On the catamaran she was yelling loudly in response to Nick's questions and Nick even responded..."OK!! (with a surprised 'you don't have to go that far' emphasis) someone likes their sweets"

I'm curious if any of the girls in the house have been asked what they think of her during any media interviews
