Actually, now that I think about it, that may have been the beginning of the end. Lauren wanted a real bed, not an old garage door, and he couldn't handle getting rid of that link to his childhood when life was good and he was the centre of the universe. Adulting is hard, you guys.

Imo this whole relationship and making compromises has been like pulling teeth for Ben. It's been wonderful when Lauren's been doing the giving and moving and doing, but the moment he's had to give up anything has been a time he's been needing someone to talk him down. Remember the pictures of them arguing at home depot?! According to him over paint colours. I mean Lauren packed her whole life up, had to leave her job etc, but Ben had a fit over painting his house in colours Lauren liked. This is how IMO how it happened. IMO Ben had a few too many tantrums, and Lauren was over it.

Yeah. I've thought about that Home Depot fight a bit too recently. Like really? This girl just turned her life inside out and upside down for you. She just went through total public humiliation because you told the runner up over and Over and OVER again that you loved her and then wouldn't apologize. But you are going to get pissy because she wants to make your $hit hole more homey? Grow up. Looking back there are plenty of red flags. Ben seems moody. How many times has Lauren captured him burried in his phone? Looking pissy? Overall Ben seems like a positive/friendly person, but there is a disconnect between interview Ben and the real guy, I think. Also telling was that interview at the SheLift event where Lauren said Ben "always put her first." Ben had a wtf look on his face. I think this is a point of contention for them and Lauren was basically calling him out with this obviousl bull crap response. As in, Ben does the opposite and never puts her first.

They've said in interviews that Lauren needed more convincing to do HEA. Ben was more on board. How freaking dumb of him. Of course they were going to offer the wedding and make that part of the story. How cruel to want to do this show, then tear the wedding away on a national stage, publicly like that. Then he wanted it both ways and to just go back to dating. It doesn't work like that. These Bach relationships all move fast. You start with the idea that this is serious and going to last. So if a year in, you are backing out and wanting to slow down instead. Red flag. Big giant red flag.

They have spent very little time together since Christmas. In fact, looking back, the last real quality time they spent together when SM activity appeared relatively normal was their trip to Turkes and Caicos. I speculate that was their last ditch effort to get back in track. Ever since then, social media has been off. Even when they were in Honduras, the social media game really started to die on Lauren's side. She basically stopped talking about Ben on social media right after their vacation. And since then, the time they spend together is less, and less, and less, and less. And even more telling, when they are together it appears they always have Lauren's friends with them. Almost like they are being a buffer. Protecting her. 

I'm just operating under the assumption they are already broken up. If not officially, then it's just a MOT.

This is the way I see it too. 100%. This is a fact: they did not spend much time together last month. That is not an opinion based on how they speak to each other/about each other on social media. Two entirely different situations.

One reality show is risky. Two reality shows = nail in the coffin. They should have never agreed to it. Jmo.

ITA. They're a bad match in general but bad matches get married all the time and learn to deal IMO but the arrogance that they can do another reality show with no repercussions is just amazing to me. IMO this is all a very deserved and expected end.

So do we think HEA (the spring half) was supposed to go back to B&L? I think so. I think they clearly said no because their relationship is in the $hitter. I think this is the only reason Emily and Haley took over. JMO.

@sosleepy Nah. IMO they could have ditched the whole thing. Shows are cancelled all the time.

I don't think so? Didn't they say they were only going to do one season? Otoh, this might have been the wedding planning season?

I love how so many of Lauren's women friends and family are posting such lovely, heart felt, funny, supportive, loving birthday messages!! I am glad Lauren is living her life, holding her head high and surrounding herself with loved ones! Happy Birthday Lauren! I hope this year becomes your best one yet!!!

Well, there is still room for another reality show - Happily Ever Never. That show, would actually be more entertaining to watch.
