Why is Heather hesitating when asked if she wants to end the marriage????

ITA. hence..why he couldn't handle a critic/confrontation as a grown-up man. I think H nailed it when she said in the cave(paraphrasing) : i feel like i was arguing with a teenage girl rather than my hubby.

Living in a state that legalizes I can say that those that smoke it don't give a rip if you don't like it or not.

Regardless of what I think about Heather, I think she did a great job asserting her position that she was drained and needed time to sleep on things. She kept being pressured over and over and stuck to her simple and seemed honest answer. GIVE HER A BREAK! damn!

^^I hope you mean that you wish that the therapists would give her a break and not any of us. Because these our opinions of Heather while watching the show edited or not. JMO.

It would seem that they will NOT end up breaking up.

I cannot post a link, as I skipped ahead in my TV Guide channel and saw the description of not next week's episode, but the one after, on Sept. 13. It clearly states Heather and Derek continue to struggle with their relationship (it also states both of the other couples are seeking therapy as well - Tom & Lillian seek emergency guidance for a serious issue, and Nick & Sonia turn to tantric to kickstart physical intimacy). Unless they drag out the decision another week, it appears safe to say she'll decide to give it another chance. I guess the spoilers of them not lasting past the honeymoon aren't entirely accurate.

For what it's worth, I thought the pastor was being overly aggressive with his pressure for an answer. All the dramatic pauses and camera changes clearly show the entire segment involving the three of them this week was staged and edited for TV drama, IMO.

Oh Men!!! Derek can never catch a break. I love Pastor Calvin. It's only fair to let the partner know when it's over instead of stringing them along. I just wish they would move on. Heather isn't ready and Derek is not ready to accommodate BS like David.

If things were so bad with Derek, why didn't Heather jump at the chance to end it?

Did Derek make the intelligent and adult decision to quit smoking weed for good or did he ONLY stop smoking for the week?

All we know is that he stopped for the week, which, btw, accounts for his inappropriate aggressive and paranoid behavior towards Heather as those being typical of marijuana withdrawal.
