MAFS - Season 4 - Derek Schwartz - Heather Seidel

I didn't watch last season but the guys have always stuck together and ditto with the women. I'm not at all surprised that they would support Derek.

I re-watched their conversation in the hotel room and I think I heard Derek mention "when we divorce" or something like that. Thought that was odd thing to say. Like they had both given up at that point.

I agree.. it was a dumb move on Derek's part. I would also freak out.

I caught that too. I didn't know if he was being sarcastic, or what. It seemed out of place, that's for sure.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but I've already written them off. There doesn't seem to be any effort or compromise from either of them, although the "pot" issue is a serious one. JMO.

As many have said, Derek looked so stoned all the time, it's not even funny (or cute) anymore. .

Sure, IA that Heather is the "Ashley" of this season. She was checked out the moment she laid her eyes on Derek . :shocked!: . But Derek had his fair share too, pretty sure he is the "Ryan de Nino" of this season IMO.

I'm speechless about this silly show. Have they not taking notes from the trainwreck of S2 and S3?. When will they ever learn?.

I look forward to entirely skip Derek-Heather segments for the rest of this season.. Absoutely no hope for these two.

I am also a bit shocked to know that there is no Heather's friends/family in any of the Unfiltered interview with Jamie. Only Derek's friends showed up. IMO it pretty much reveal that D-H was donezo (rumor has it they split even before the Decision Day....geeze) , and Heather&Co want nothing to do with MAFS anymore. The last Unfiltered has proven more that she is sick talking about Derek...she even didn't try to sugarcoat the fact that there was no hope for her marriage. . Also, it's not hard to tell that the intvew with Heather was done separately - perhaps after filming?- since the backdrop is very different. and she wasn't even in the same room as Jamie..LOL. IMO She is now just trying to fulfill her 'obligations' due to contract. Same goes for her SMs activity. Can't blame her, though....

I don't understand how/why people are judging him based on his eyes. Did you see the picture with his mum? Do we assume she is always high too or just genetics?

Dang! I'm sorry I missed the "when we divorce" comment & my kids just deleted all my MAFS episodes. :-/  

I am just so amazed they've done so terribly with this pairing.  **edited** hank God! I was really feeling alone in the sea of pot dispensaries. (It still IS federally illegal.). Here, in Seattle it is not uncommon to smell pot being openly smoked in public (illegal by local laws).  I don't know where the rest of the "experts" are from - pot use is so pervasive here, it is really looked on as equal to a beer/glass of wine and people that object are pretty much shamed for their outdated/close minded attitude. :-/  **edited**

I think MAFS hit the jackpot with Doug and Jamie. I was devastated when Neal rejected Sam  -  she grew so much and he came from a family of successful arranged marriages.  I just want it to work for at least ONE couple a season .... Sigh! Maybe polygraphs or a behavioral analyst (someone that can see deceit) should be a part of the testing!  Someone posted that it's all a sham that there's really no actual matching other than finding willing participants - sadly that seems it might be the case.

I don't think it's a sham. I heard that the experts asked the participants to show pictures of their exs this season that's why they got the attraction part. Its difficult to predict the participants response to their spouses. I am hopefully this season .

Well that interview cleared a few things. Thanks for posting Ruqibabe. So he stopped smoking when he realized it really bothered her.
