Sleepy, you are welcome to your opinion. Mine is not based on the show since I hardly watched. I am basing it on post show. Again I know many talented women Lauren's age, she does not impress me. At 25-26 many young women I know go to school full time or work full time and still are involved in helping others. That is not Lauren. She is interested in being social and her fashion stuff. Yes others are too and when I see that in them I become not fans as well. And nothing I have heard out of Lauren is particularly intelligent. Just my opinion. She and Ben have a fabulous platform, he is using it for good, she seems to just follow not lead in this. She honestly seems more interested in the party type stuff where she can show off her love of fashion. Truly she is one step up from the standard Bach contestant only because she was a chosen F1, not through any activity of her own. We will see about JoJo, I don't have her on a pedastal, just interested to watch her season.

Lol. I don't worship her. And maybe she will disappoint, it wouldn't be the first time I decided after some time I don't like a former contestant after all. It's just a tv show. I don't know her, none of us do. She's just a person, and this happens to be my current read on her. **edited**, and my post went way longer than I realized when I hit send.

Totally fair! I agree with you on too many other things, so I respect your opinion. We'll just have to agree to disagree and see where life actually takes these two. I personally think at 1.5 months post show, it's probably too soon to see exactly what Lauren will do with her life or where she will go - or what exactly she's going to be passionate about. She's adjusting to huge life changes.

I do have a daughter her age... she has done service/volunteer work for a year and is working on her masters degree.., I am pretty proud of her, and she would never go on a show like the bachelor. She does not even watch!). I guess we all have our views... all valid. giggling

I don't have anything with benlo. I don't question their rel. they seem okay with their post life . One thing that I just noticed with Lauren is. If I remember correctly it was Ben who encouraged her to do snaps and keep the fans posted of their lives. In fact the first snap Lauren mentioned it. Also Ben posted somewhere to follow Lauren for their updates. So why is Lauren getting all the flack for this.

Yeah he was the one who endorse on his Twitter that Lauren created her own snapchat and encouraged everyone to go and follow her snaps to update their post life . It makes me laugh that he encouraged everyone on his Twitter to follow Lauren snap and yet he seems to just let Lauren to just have fun on their snaps together laugh out loud

It is fast. My experience is life changes and stress bring out who we truly are. So far from Lauren I just don't see anything to inspire me to like her. It can change and gosh knows has many times, nothing is static and we all grow and learn. JMO.

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I see nothing more and nothing less than a pretty flight attendant that got to 3rd base with a dude on a reality show. She's literally like the 100s of girls that have appeared on this show and the millions in the US imo.

Amen Alanna! You are the best, and have a great way with words. ;) I love this discussion thread. She is pretty, got to third base, and yes he was just a "dude" on a reality show. I love how you keep things in perspective.

Stuck, I agree with you too. Lauren certainly does not "impress" me and that is okay. Makes for some interesting conversation around here, and keeps things fun---imo! :yes:

And that can be just enough for the man she is with.
We all do different things at different stages of live. Not all of us have to be philanthropic or the next saint. Not all of us have to be married or have children. To each his own. As long as these people do not bleed over into my own life, I don't care if they become trapeze artists.
From what I can see she has been professionally active for a 25 yr old. Kudos to her.

I am personally happy that Ben found someone to love and someone that loves him back. If different opportunites arise that Lauren can take advantage of I see nothing wrong with it as long as the number one goal is their relationship. IMO they have kept it low key and only taking advantage of things they enjoy. I think they will figure out what is best for them and I have a lot of confidence they will do just fine.

If I'm going to compare them to anyone, I'm going to put them in the mature decision making category.

Everyone has the right to live their lives they way they choose, doesn't matter to me what they do. However if I'm going to post my opinion, these two IMO are in the same category as one of the most mature couples for their age considering SM thought Ben was too young. The way they have handled themselves, tells me, they are more mature than quite a few formers.

The first thing they did was spend time with their families, together, all in the same house. Her brother and sister couldn't be there, but they made up for it when they travelled to Portland. That in itself, for me, tells me their relationship was off to a good start. They have spent time with Ben's friends, Lauren's goddaughter and family and attened various events, 2016 Little 500 etc. Lauren had lunch with Trista, which wasn't public, and was kept quiet. So far IMO so good.
