I don't think Lauren is calculated at all. IMO she's rare person in a sense that she's willing to uproot her life to move for Ben, but she still knows her own value. IMO if this relationship was a calculated move for her, she'd have talked Ben into endorsing all kinds of products, they'd be moving to LA, and she'd encouraged him to do DWTS. IMO she's doing everything opposite of being calculated. IMO nothing she's done so far has benefited her in any way except building a strong relationship with Ben. Jmo.

Calcating doesn't have to mean she doesn't like or love Ben. It can simply mean she seemed very controlled with her emotions.

From what I have seen both she and Ben seem to like each other post show. I don't see this as a MOT relationship until they are allowed to break up. I do see two young relatively relationship immature people who might be at different places in the "fame" spectrum. Ben was over this whole thing on premiere night. He seemed on the After the Bach to just want to get his girl and go. He seems done being "the bachelor"'and wants to go be Ben. Lauren is just getting to experience getting recognized and loving it. That is okay. Because she wants some of the attention and he is over it, they will have to find their balance. Last night what was shown on ET may have been a moment in getting that balance. If they both want it, then it will work out.

I hope they stop the travel and settle into their real life. It is exhausting living out of a suitcase and even if you are with family, you are performing. I hope they get to nest and figure out how they work without being the bachelor final couple all the time.

They don't give me warm fuzzies, but I don't dislike them, I just don't care. Mostly I see the attention they are receiving as self inflicted and I don't feel bad for them at all. All JMO.

I don't buy it that Ben doesn't like taking pictures. He seems to be as much a camera whore as the next narcissistic bitch. Can't blame him though..he sure is easy on the eyes. So his act comes across as little annoying for me.

I like both of them, but separately IMO. I viewed it as an "imprinting" thing, a la Des with Brooks and I don't necessarily think that's the best thing for that environment.

With that being said, I wish them well. Coming off of this show as an engaged couple is no easy task. If they end up working out, good on them.

All 3 of these posts summarize my feelings. My logical mind says they are nice, likeable people. But have never had warm-fuzzies or gotten attached to them but I'm glad for people who found a couple to fan in them.

The snapchat thing is prob no big deal, but it is interesting to discuss, IMO, as a little hint at some of their couple dynamic. I do kind of sense Lauren Runs that show a bit and Ben may be just fine with that, but if someone doesn't want their pic snapped to the world while they're vegging, don't do it, again JMO.

I like them both together and separately but don't see how any of us really know them, good or bad. They're just real people in an unreal situation which must be strange even after being on the show. I'm content to see the odd pic of them and not actively follow too closely like I do others I like. I don't spend time worrying about my son's relationship with his gf so why would I worry about someone who I know only through a reality show? Hugesmile

Their SnapChat just leaves me wanting more, it's like Lauren is/they are trying to find things to Snap. Maybe it's because I've been following K&S for months and they know what to do and yes they overshare at times laugh out loud

but it's at least enjoyable to me&the fans. They enjoy updating whether it's together or separately. Oh well it's only the beginning for BenLo to get used to it or just stop all together.

ETA: and this post isn't me comparing the two couples in regards to their different relationships, only cause BoothStowe are the only other Bach couple who Snapchat.

Well, to be fair, Boothstowe has perfected the art of the snapchat. They are like known for their snapchat as far as I'm concerned. I guess I just don't have the same feelings for them that I do with my other favs. Still think they make a nice couple and wish them a happy ending. Smiley

I like Lauren a lot too. I don't at all see Ben similar to Brad as Brad had all those daddy issues and seems unable to maintain a relationship. But I am married to a moody only child with a big heart so I think she has her work cut out for her more so than he does. As the oldest of four children she had to get used to sharing spotlight and nurturing her siblings. I think her upbringing will serve them well.

What I like about Lauren, based on the interviews that I have watched and her time on show, is that she seems very level headed, genuine and gracious. I don't think she is a game player at all. She seems to be the type of person who easily gets along and strives to treat others with respect and kindness, which is what we have heard consistently. She seems mature for her age and confident in her own skin. I also like that she graduated from college and speaks so highly about her current employer.

As far as Ben goes, I was very impressed with what I saw in his audition tape for Bachelorette. I like that he finished college on time and then decided to teach English in a third world country for six months. He followed that up by supporting his friends non profit organization that is attempting to teach sustainable skills in poor Latin American countrues. His charity commitment is not just to boost his ABC resume.

I would guess that if Ben was actually ticked off at Lauren's snapchats, she would not be posting. Just my opinion!!

Brad/Emily comparison = Man who had manners and character and Woman who knew her own worth and did not compromise who she was.

I agree with lexforlife that Lauren left you wanting more and I think that's why Ben liked her so much. She didn't lay all her cards on the table. There was a mystery to her. I'm not a guy so I may be way off base here but I do think a lot of guys like and even prefer that.

I really don't get the use of calculating for Lauren because it's such a negative term. It means scheming and for me that association to Lauren has no basis because, at least from my perspective, she didn't get into this for fame like some women that's come out of this franchise. She had no expectations but knew her worth. She was the most natural and reserved, which I liked about her. Just a class act, which you rarely see in this show.

I loved Ben but this season made me fall in love with Lauren for Ben. They are just a perfect fit that I seriously hope they make it! They're still at the stage of getting to know each other's quirks so this is not the first and only time they will have an intense conversation.

I hope Lauren moves soon and they settle into some normalcy.

They are good communicators and are getting to know each other. In one interview in New York, don't remember which one, Ben stated that he was quiet in the car and Lauren was questioning him if he was quiet bc something was wrong or if he was just tired. He was just tired.
