Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

I don't see the calculated Lauren. I have yet to grasp on where that even comes from. Calculated would be if she was already endorsing products with Benjamin on SM. Posting PDA sessions on her sc or him being lovey dovey to her would be calculated too which isn't the case with how Ben acts. We've seen mostly funny/unsual situations or just them being a normal couple going about their day. I think she's just excited to show off her man and she's entitled to do it. I think she's done a great job to not over do it. To me she's been the one moving mountains for Ben. It's still Ben's job to keep his word to date her well and show her off. To me if they don't make it its because of Ben. JMO

Yeah it might be on Lauren's hand to me. Don't throw rocks on me benlo fans . From what I see and noticed at this point and the vibe that I have . I think they seem doing good so far and mostly lauren is okay with everything and she does seem doing a lot and nothing wrong with that .imo.

From what I've seen, I like them both a lot. I like Lauren more than I do Ben. No particular reason other than from what I've seen which is this young woman openly showing her support for her man And there being a sweet, kind and gracious demeanor that I connect to

I think Lauren is waaaaaaay into Ben. Way, way, waaaaaay more than Emily was into Brad. I saw her goo-goo eyes for Ben on the show, and now off. She's clearly re-arranging her life for this man, is clearly supportive of him. Emily was none of those things for Brad. I don't see calculating at all. She's reserved and careful with what she says and how she says it, so maybe that's where some get the calculating vibe. But no way. In some ways, I think she's more into Ben than he is into her- and thats saying something, because I also think he's very into her. JMO.

I liked Lauren on the show, she exuded so much class and left you wanting more. I liked that about her. I have only fan girled once and that was a waste since what I was seeing wasn't real -the sm postings, since then I never say never on any of these couples. If they are it for each other or what is their childish mantra- something about person, good on them. I personally feel it is too early to tell with them and for their relationship to work, they have to work at it. All jmo.

I like Lauren a lot too. I don't at all see Ben similar to Brad as Brad had all those daddy issues and seems unable to maintain a relationship. But I am married to a moody only child with a big heart so I think she has her work cut out for her more so than he does. As the oldest of four children she had to get used to sharing spotlight and nurturing her siblings. I think her upbringing will serve them well.

What I like about Lauren, based on the interviews that I have watched and her time on show, is that she seems very level headed, genuine and gracious. I don't think she is a game player at all. She seems to be the type of person who easily gets along and strives to treat others with respect and kindness, which is what we have heard consistently. She seems mature for her age and confident in her own skin. I also like that she graduated from college and speaks so highly about her current employer.

As far as Ben goes, I was very impressed with what I saw in his audition tape for Bachelorette. I like that he finished college on time and then decided to teach English in a third world country for six months. He followed that up by supporting his friends non profit organization that is attempting to teach sustainable skills in poor Latin American countrues. His charity commitment is not just to boost his ABC resume.

I would guess that if Ben was actually ticked off at Lauren's snapchats, she would not be posting. Just my opinion!!

Haha when I say they're totally Brad and Emily I don't mean that Ben is like Brad with all his issues or that Lauren isn't into Ben. I meant that I see Ben being starstruck by Lauren much the same way Brad was with Emily and much like Emily, Lauren made Ben pursue her and didn't throw herself at him like many Bachelor women do with the male leads. I actually do think Lauren has game and I don't think that's a bad thing at all!  

I agree with lexforlife that Lauren left you wanting more and I think that's why Ben liked her so much. She didn't lay all her cards on the table. There was a mystery to her. I'm not a guy so I may be way off base here but I do think a lot of guys like and even prefer that.

Thanks sosleepy and Forever...I enjoy coming to this forum and keeping up with the couples and contestants who I most enjoy.

I value education, employment, community service and treating people with kindness and respect. I don't know any of these people but when I see a couple from this franchise demonstrate those traits, I always have a special affinity for them
