Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

We also don't know what happened prior to that snapchat. Lauren could've been doing a photo session since she just got her hair done in the salon. She was snapping pictures away and Ben had enough by that time. I've done that numerous of times and my husband is annoyed half of the time I do it. I'd rather see these type of things from them than just PDAs full of roses and butterflies. I like how they're normal and not putting a front all the time. Maybe some of us are used to snapchats being about lovey dovey stuff. I like how it's not so sugar coated with them. Makes their relationship seem more real. JMO

I was trying to explain to a friend the other day why I'm not a fan of these two like I have been for other couples. I couldn't quite put it into words. Anyone else have that problem? There are reasons but I can't quite articulate the whys behind those reasons. Maybe it's simply because both seem so one dimensional that I can't fully grasp who they are and if they make sense together. IDK but it's been bothering me since. Maybe reading everyone's posts will help me make sense of it all.

Anyways, I'll reevaluate these two come Christmas unless something major happens before then.

I think it's good to see that part of their life now. I don't expect them to show the fanstasy sides of their life especially with their post life. This is the real life and real test. But I do think that they can't win either way they will be judged whatever they will be putting out there . Jmo.

Heck I like them together! But if every negative or slightly critical/non-glowy comment is met with this much angst, then it's gonna be a long road .

Let's say Ben is sick of snapchat and doesn't want to be filmed at home in dirty gym shorts, that's ok! It doesn't need to be defended and it certainly doesn't mean that Lauren is evil or that Ben is a grump IMO. It is what it is. We're all just guessing -- in the same way that some will think they're going to make it based on these 10 second clips, others will think the opposite.

It takes time for all of these couples to see the full picture and really know the trajectory. Same for the people as individuals. I've loved many on the show, but cool it on them fast when the IRL social media picture starts to paint a different version. I agree with your assessment, let's just wait until Christmas and see where life takes them.

Bottom line, if you are a fan, you want it to work, so you see the positive. If you aren't: you are either meh or on breakup watch. Neither point of view can be entirely accurate. Time tells the true story every time.

Imo so many of the pairings in some of the shows didn't make sense to me either. Didn't matter though, it made sense to the couple and their fans. I'm happy for the success stories and truly feel, BenLo will be amongst them .

But it's not that they don't make sense on paper because they do more than several other couples. It's other things that I can't quite describe.

Lauren just strikes me as calculating and Ben is a dummy, a loveable one but a dummy nonetheless. All imo of course. I think they'll be together as long as this suit Lauren, so maybe forever. They can either be Emily and Brad or Trista and Ryan.

I think even if they turned out to be TaR some wouldn't like them. With some of the current pairings, I don't care if they do or don't end up together. Some that have gotten married, that's great but I still don't warm up to them. It is what it is, you feel what you feel.

I like Lauren a lot. I like Ben too but Lauren is the one I'm a fan of. She knows her worth as a woman and how to make a guy chase her. I have to respect that especially among the (mostly) easy women of this franchise. Yeah they're totally Brad and Emily (without all the issues IMO) but I dig it.

All JMO.
