I think many of the same things you just wrote.  When I see Lauren's snap chats they also remind me of my husband and myself.  I often seem to do things that could embarrass him. It is just that I am more expressive and out going. But he asks me to back off and usually I do. . We have been married 36 years and we chuckle and sometimes disagree but respect and love each other.  They will learn from each other.  I wish them years of love.

After last seasons Bachelorette I wasn't a huge fan of Ben, pretty much could take him or leave him. It wasn't until I saw the leaked pictures of his date in Warsaw with Lauren that made me start to take notice. There was just something there. A smile not yet seen before.

So I got to know these two the best that you can without really knowing them and with everything I watched and read and learned I was taken with the kind of people they are. I honestly believe they are genuine, what you see is what you get, kind people, who care and want to leave a positive impression on others and this world but are no means perfect and don't claim to be. Everything that everyone who has met them post show says the same thing, how engaging and sweet they are. There are few couples that I'd actually like to meet in real life, and go get a drink with, because honestly why? But Lauren and Ben are one of them, just cool normal people, type that I'd be proud to be friends with.

So I'm glad I took the time to follow them, get to "know" them and enjoy their love story. Two quality people that I can get behind. Whatever happens happens, I just hope life is kind to them. And maybe someday I'll get that drink... (the Bushnell's can come too because they just seem like an awesome family)

I'm kind of the same, SeekAny! I only half paid attention to Kaitlyn's season, I just couldn't get into it. Ben was my favorite, but mostly by default. I thought he was hot, I liked how he handled the Sex Ed class, and I appreciated that he stayed out of the Nick vs. Shawn drama, that was frankly tedious and draining. That killed Kaitlyn's season for me.

Fast forward to Ben the Bachelor. He just lit up. He, IMO, handled the whole process like no Bachelor has before. I actually agree with CH, he belongs on Rushmore, 100%.  Usually I don't get into The Bachelor (I'm more of an 'ette fan, typically). But Ben handled the show like your average 'ette. He was in the moment, sincere, genuine, seemed to really want to leave with a wife. He was analytical and thoughtful. He made decisions based on his head and his heart, not little Ben, like so many other Bachelors who make quick and stupid decisions with their male parts. He was open. And with Lauren, the guy who was honestly kind of stoic and boring with Kaitlyn just LIT UP! Omg, I loved watching that.

Episode after episode, and even more so, post show, Lauren has just shown herself to be such a quality individual as well. She's rational and calm to Ben's emotional/over thinking/analytical ways. She's lighthearted and giggly to Ben's sometimes serious demeanor. Honestly, Ben's mom said he needed someone to "talk him off the ledge," and we saw that- Ben DOES overthink things and take things very seriously- he certainly over thought and got overly intense in the last days of his season. Lauren seems like the perfect personality type to help talk him down, to get him out of his head.

Both are articulate, have poise, are kind, have loving families who support the crap out of them. They seem to have the same faith. They have similar backgrounds. They are beautiful together. In all the interviews I loved how they took turns and really played off each other. I appreciated their level of PDA- it felt natural and real, nothing forced or fake. They came off so charming and supportive and like a real team to me.

So yeah, I'm a fan of both. Both individually and together. I've liked other couples in the past, but usually I prefer one half over the other. With these two, I honestly fan girl them on equal levels. I think they are both stellar individuals who are lucky to have found one and other. Will they get married and have 5 million babies and live happily ever after? I don't know, I'm not Nostradamus. But I do think they have a good shot. A really good shot. And if I'm wrong, and life happens and it doesn't work, I think I'll feel good about supporting both individually. Cause I think they are both great.

Lauren should respect his privacy. My DH is a very reserved person and insanely private. I don't drag him into my SM postings and I think he let me take a selfie of us together one time. Once. I respect his privacy. Lauren should do the same. Jmo.

IMO, it's hard to equate respecting someone's privacy in the same frame as a person who has been on 2 reality tv shows and god knows how many other tv or radio interviews etc. to that of those who don't like their picture taken, don't embrace sm or whatever.
And in Ben's case this is something he pursued vs someone else who may shun the limelight.
Personally, I don't think Ben actually could care that much about the situation, but if the particular incident did irritate him, he needs to grow a pair and maybe take a nap.

The move will happen sooner than later. Lauren said Ben would be going to LA with her sometime in April when they can to help her pack. I don't think Ben would be letting her paint his bedroom furniture already which is basically the most private place in his home to him if she wasn't going to move soon. Ben's privacy also went out the gate as soon as he signed up to be on the Bachelor and find his wife on it basically.
