Yeah, they weren't even in public. I'd consider being in your car akin to being in your home. Totally shady for someone to be taping you through the windows. That, I feel badly about.

This is why I don't watch TMZ shows. It makes me feel icky watching someone's private moments. I haven't watched ET for a long time but they didn't use to be so gossipy. I expect that from L & S and OK rag mags. I like that Gossip Cop calls them out on a lot of their nonsense.

I am actually surprised its on ET vs TMZ. This seems more TMZ style but I haven't watched ET in a while. But since TMZ is 90% rappers and Kartrash anymore (or the last time I looked) maybe that is why they didn't pick it up.

They invited the People cameras to their "private" cooking birthday date. So the. Someone filmed them in a car, sorry but that is the price you pay. Keep your life more private and you get less. I don't feel bad and hope they learn from it. Chose to stay more public or stop sharing so much and get your privacy back. And to be fair we have said this about Kaitlyn and SeanCat and others. It is a choice and a balance. JMO

They didn't invite People cameras to the cooking date

Have anyone seen the video to know its content or is ET saying they have video of this couple "expressing emotions".

How do we know whether or not they invited People to the cooking date?

They didn't invite People to the cooking lesson. Both Ben and Lauren posted the same picture of it on IG, the cooking lesson site posted one picture and that's how People got their story. Many of the stories these days have been written only as their IG as the source. Oh, and they had 2 pictures from Lauren's snap chat too. There were no additional pictures from anywhere else but their sm accounts.

^ no they did not invite people to their private cooking class. I think the media picked up their reports on Lauren's snapchat story since I saw that she did snapchat video of that cooking class they did in Denver aside from their ig pic they both posted.I mean even they don't invite people cameras on what they are doing privately and snapchat is there the media can easily pick up . Just saying .

Right or wrong it is what it is--reality of the situation. I can think of a previous example done on an airplane by a F2 reject. Sh*t happens.

The people article had info from the date, I am sorry if I was misinformed that they invited People. The point remains the same, if you are excited that People gave them love for the cooking date, then negative stuff will come too. Just the way it is. All before them have dealt with it. The more you share the less privacy you have. And maybe I am naive, but a car out in public is not private anymore, it hasn't been since Princess Diana died. That is JMO.

ETA, by having a public snap chat and posting the pics on your public SM, you are inviting everyone in. Unfortunately, that means to the good and the bad. I don't feel bad for Kaitlyn and SeanCat, so I don't feel bad for Ben and Lauren. I am not a fan of oversharing and I think snap chat, periscope and the like are bad ideas. You create the impression of encouraging attention, so it is harder to then claim privacy. JMO.
