I see the IG ads have started (at least from Ben as I don't follow Lauren). It was only a matter of time.

And no judgment here. It's merely an observation.

How can you tell? I seriously would like to know the difference because on others I see active promotions so do I look for tags ?

Ben's post today about the pool loungers was a rather obvious ad. Sometimes people will post ad or spon at the end to let people know it is but other times it's simply how they caption the pic and the pic selected.

FYI sleuthers knew she had SM prior to going on the show. Pic's were found from accounts she had already deleted while they were filming the show. If I'm not mistaken, and someone can CMIIW she had a couple of other accounts that were deleted. I didn't want to look for all the posts, but the first one is here.

I dont think that you could say for sure that was an ad. It could be like the poop that i knit hat he recieved.They could have given him the service for free just as a gift and he decided to show his appreciaition by tweeting about them.

It looks like an ad to me except that he didn't tell me to type "Bach Babe Ben" to get 20% off so you can color me confused about that. He did thank Pepsico when he got tickets to the Nuggets game so maybe he is saying thank you. I don't know.

The fact it's a professionally taken pic also leads more evidence to it being an ad. JMO

As a reference only, on Amanda's and Jades to name a couple its easy to tell they are selling stuff. Ben did say he's not averse to it if the "right" deal comes along. Good luck to the both of them and make that money if it comes their way.

Again purely as an example, the couple who seems to have done great at promoting themselves are Tim and Anna from Aussie Bach 1. Seems to have worked out well for them

I think it went along the lines of whoever is behind those chairs spotting them & using them to promote the chairs. Ben's wording is very subtle and doesn't scream ad to me. I mean it's just an "@"to those chairs. Until one of them says type "Ben/Lauren" to receive 20% off your next purchase, then I would think they jumped on the ad train. It's not anything to be ashamed of anyway.

It does seem like an ad, the pose and the wording of the caption. I'm usually unbothered when they aren't doing it every other day, and are still holding down a solid job
