Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

^^ I agree umngirl. I think a winter wedding is far more likely for the reasons you stated. I'll be pleasantly surprised if this summer thing pans out though.  I think Ben and Lauren seem about as promising as you can get from this franchise to make it though. All my opinion, of course.

And as far as promotion, yeah. It seems Ben started with the Pool Lounge thing. I don't have a problem with them making money on the side and getting something out of it so long as the adds aren't OTT and take over their social media (see:Janner.) So far, the adds are basically limited to just the pool chairs. One add. Incredible moderation and restraint, basically compared to most everyone else.

In Ben's defense, he has this strange thing called a job. It may actually require 40 hours or more of his attention per week. Strange phenomenon in bachelor world. It was something I liked about him before I got bored. Now Lauren apparently plays dress up and is doing public appearances for Alska Airlines, almost a job too. I find her posts to be like adds when she is talking make-up or fashion, but again they all do it, so no biggie. Neither has given us code BenLo to save 10 or 20% 

I wouldn't mind a summer wedding as a TPTB change of pace, plus differentiating this Bach and F1 wedding from the last would be nice too.

AlaskaAir IS her employer, so I'd say the appearances are her job. I guess she couldn't get back to working yet between moving to Denver and these public appearances. She's said multiple times she will return to flying, it has been a bit over 2 months from the finale.

I know she said she would go back to flying but I don't think she will, she might do some PR for Alaskian airlines and work in another capacity for them but I don't see her going back to flying. jmo. With a potential summer wedding coming up im sure most of her time will be spent planning that.I also think these two have babies on the brain and are ready to start a family sooner rather then later. jmo

I agree. I think Lauren might tap into other things she's passionate about once she's married and has a baby. Whether its interior design, fashion, or the business side of Alaska Airlines. Being a flight attendant again is the least of her plans imo.

I might be alone with my opinion, IMO she will go back to flying.

She's still with Alaska, but it wouldn't shock me if she lands on the corporate/PR side - which I think has already started happening. Alaska is clearly very happy with her. I agree, she's done flying, and can you blame her? The pay is peanuts (she'd make more posting those non-existent adds to her IG), and it's days at a time away from her fiancé (potentially husband and family) at a time. It's a better life style for the young and single, IMO.

Emily Maynard posted a picture of JoJo walking on the beach in her bikini with a caption that read........."Eat your heart out Ben"!

I was shocked. Why would she be so disrespectful to post something like that. Did Ben piss her off or something?

To be fair, Emily was just reposting a friend's blog, then she edited the post to say it was just a joke and clearly Ben picked the right woman for him after she got a lot of criticism. But... Yeah, coming from someone who got SUPER butt hurt from the Chantal/Brad stuff, you'd think she'd be a tad more sensitive, but I don't think she meant anything by it. As far as I know, she doesn't personally know or has interacted with any of Ben, Lauren or JoJo.

Maybe she didn't mean anything by it but I don't see it as anything funny. I think it's disrespectful and I don't think she would take to kindly if it were done to her. I don't usually get to uptight about stuff people say but this was from a former bachelorette so I would think she would be more respectful.
