Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

If it was an ad, that is okay, all the Bach couples do it, some to a lesser extent than others. Ben and Lauren are just like the majority who have been on this show. The reality of bachelor nation now is to get as much as you can while you can. They have certainly been more subtle than some others, but the trips, the athlete events, the concert it is all part of getting something for free from being on the show. It's alright, Des managed to have her dream wedding and honeymoon without TPTB because she is very effective at the subtle use of endorsements. It was lovely and I couldn't be happier that she and Chris were able to have all that. Just like each of the pregnant couples has managed to get paid in someway for some part of their pregnancies. I don't love it, but it is part of being on the show now. Kudos to Ben and Lauren, they have certainly kept it more subtle than some of their colleagues.

Yeah, I think it's pretty much impossible to resist. I hope they're choosy with what they peddle and don't depend on it to survive.

After I learned that the 'contestants' get paid nothing by ABC, and don't even get a wardrobe budget, I'm all supportive of them posting ads. My only issue is health products, those tummy teas etc. IMO it's a huge responsibility to advertise some diet etc products when I doubt the celeb is fully aware of the stuff they're promoting. I think Kim K got called out for advertising some really shady medication or posting faulty information while advertising it, and she had no clue, it was just the company line fed to her. Jmo.

I hope they take all the opportunities they want. Ben turned down DWTS where he could've made a lot of money, if they can make some extra money or get freebies in other ways more power to them Imo. I never really judge people who do ads, I just ignore/scroll past the posts.

Just please not the FFF box! I don't see what's so fab or fun about that thing. I get so grouchy when I see it. Ditto on the flat tummy teas and sugar bear hair gummies.

Haha the FFF box. I cringe even when my faves do it. I especially can't stand when the guys do it. Is that sexist?

Good on Ben and Lauren if they take opportunities - especially those that don't make them have to be apart from each other and/or in stressful situations like DWTS, MBC/CBC and other shows. For those who do more reality tv like Sean/Cat, I lose respect for. I'd rather they just post stuff on their SM for $ than foray into more reality-tv shows (other than a tv wedding).

Looks like they are getting married very soon on tv  probably this summer. It's abc special . I don't know how true with this article since it's from US weekly though .They are still working out other details.

There's definite movement towards a wedding imo.

I think BenLo are handling the after show stuff amazingly well. I am sure they've been talking summer wedding for a while, a deal has been in the making for weeks. But it gets leaked just at the same time JoJo comes back from filming. BenLo want to have their own narrative, and leaking this to the Us Weekly now narrows down the 'Ben is secretly calling JoJo' headlines a lot. I bet they have someone giving them sound advice.

Well, being that summer is about here--the summer kick off is Mem Day weekend, I think if they were referring to anything it was not this summer. 
It did not sound like they had done anything indicating a wedding...she said no date etc. 
It doesn't mean a wedding won't happen. To me it just means no definitive plans.
