Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

I'm pretty sure that's a speculative article based on her tickets tweet. I don't think they're in LA

^^ yeah, I think that is total speculation based on Lauren's tweet asking for basketball tickets on Twitter (she was prob asking for a friend or a sibbling or something.) Pretty sure they are back in Denver.

And IF they are in LA, I'm guessing it's more to do with finishing packing and/or driving her car to Denver. But I think she had most of her stuff shipped and finished packing last week, and I think Ben is basically back at work in full capacity.

If there are going to be televised wedding talks with ABC, I don't think that will happen until next fall at the earliest. Just being realistic.

I would think that ABC would have to give Ben and Lauren a heads up if they will televise it and about the time frame. Can you imagine if Ben and Lauren made all these plans and where they will have it and start booking venues, florist and caterer's then ABC let's them know they will televise it. Doesn't sound right. Maybe they already had these talks because Ben did say later this year or early 2017. That seems about the right time for it to be televise according to the past weddings.

Well abc would bank with them they are now their famous reigning couple. For sure Tv wedding is in the works . And no doubt Lauren is going to kick her wedding planning once she already fully moved to Denver for her to do something and getting busy while continue communicating with any of the abc producers .

^^ I think this is precisely why it's just so hard for these couples to plan a wedding. Do you go full steam ahead with plans, or bank on ABC giving you a wedding last minute? As I recall, all of the couples who got weddings, didn't find out until pretty last minute. Jason/Molly and JP/Ashley at least, only had like 2 months between ABC giving them the deal and the wedding! I'm not sure on SeanCat or Trista/Ryan's timeline, but I imagine they probably didn't have much heads up either. And of course, add in Des/Chris not having a televised wedding for whatever reason, and it throws in even more uncertainty. Since they are the last couple of the married club to get married, it's hard to say if being passed for the TV wedding was an anomaly or a new standard going forward.

I still say Ben hinting at December/January 2016/17 was not pulled out of his butt. That timeframe definitely fits with a TV wedding. But we'll see. I don't think there will me major talks with the network or a full deal until this fall if that's the case. That is what history has shown us how ABC opperates with these Bach TV weddings.

For reference, SeanCat knew in September when their wedding would be, the announcement was in October, and they got married in late January. So they had almost 5 months to plan.

Well I hope they gave Ben and Lauren a heads up if they were going to televise it or not. With all the help and connections and a wedding planner ABC can do it quick. In the meantime Lauren can be looking at dresses, cakes and other things and tell who ever plans the wedding for them what she and Ben like.

Me too. It'll be here before we know it. I for one, really, really hope they get the TV deal. Being from The Bachelor and not the 'ette helps. I guess time will tell.

I kind of hope they wait until at least fall until they really start planning. Lauren needs to fully move to Denver and see how it goes IMHO. They are just ststarting their lives together now - its been a month long vacation really IMHO. Still valuable time together but the real stuff starts now.
