Ben Higgins - Lauren Bushnell - Bachelor 20 - Discussion

That was so tongue in cheek! Nothing more and they know exactly where they stand  on that Bachelor totem pole.

This is my first experience with really following a couple post show. For those who've been around the block a few times, do women continue to be so blatant with their comments to the lead who is now an engaged man?

Yuck. You probably know, umngirl, but hasn't Catherine said in the past it's caused issues for her/them? Fan girls not respecting boundaries? I thought she mentioned that on Marriage Boot Camp.

I'm most definitely being over protective of Lauren (who I'm starting to love even more than Ben), but I cringe at some of these women throwing themselves at Ben. It takes a strong woman to marry a popular Bachelor.

Yeah some fans clearly don't respect boundaries. And the only way to really stop them is to never live your house but that's not much of a life. Guess you just politely ask them to show some respect and hope that they do. On social media it's easy because you can block people. It's in public that the obsessed fans can be too much. Some people just really have issues.

I can see where some is done tongue in cheek but some really cross the line IMO It would take a whole lot of grace, restraint, and confidence in your relationship to handle that.

What kinds of things are fangirls doing? I was curious when Cat said it too. Aside from the obvious (wanting pictures and a hug), what is it?

Calling him the "love of their life", tweeting when are they going to meet up for a date after little 5, Lauren must not be the one if Ben's face timing me, in a pic of the two of them "he looks hot...with the emphasis on he" and the list goes on. Again some I'm sure is in jest but it would take a pretty strong woman to overlook them all.

These are women who don't know him. Celebrities and sports stars deal with this stuff all the time. They need to focus on their relationship and ignore. It isn't easy, but as long as they chose to be SM active this will happen. JMO.

Some of these women are stalking him to meet him in St Pete or at IU so the potential to get to know him I guess I'm not sure why the rules should be different with celebrities. I wouldn't tell someone else's husband that I love them and my husband sure wouldn't tell someone's fiance that he's obsessed with her.

Ben and ABC asked women to "fall in love" with Ben. I am not saying the women are necessarily right, just that it is part of the experience Ben got paid for. The less SM presence and public meet and greets they do, the less opportunity for it to happen. Ben and Lauren have to decide their level of comfort and post and do appearances according to their comfort level.

It maybe weird but it is part of the trade off. Some is joking and if they meet Ben would probably just be happy to have met him.

Not to be mean, but if you want the perks, you pay the price. JMO.

I see your point...guess I don't have to like it.
