The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I havent read all the recent posts , just enough to get the gist of topic being discussed and i was wondering if Caila could be the one he regrets sending home at the FRC? I know some feel that shes the 2nd ILY, so is this scenario even a possibility?

^^I'm sorry, but I really feel that Caila is irrelevant at this point. Something is off in their relationship. If you compare Benlo's relationship to Ben's relationship with Caila, I don't think she gets the ILY. Jojo has a higher chance, I think so.

I have no doubt that Lauren is his F1 ... Im just trying to figure out how the TPTb might try to sell us some doubt due to his obvious attraction for Lauren... Plus it could be there way to sell Caila as the next 'ette like they did for Allie

Shoot! Trying to make the pieces fit and then you realize it's because Benny can't count, one....two? That is really one bunglicious, money making slip up! I'm verclempt! This is truly an ily-gate. Seems they are sending the lower class management to do mop up service .

If you say I love you to a person in a matter-of-fact one, and dont remember you said it .... Chances are you really arent in love with them

Several thoughts on recent posts; sorry for not being able to be too precise here as posting really isn't easy for me off my iPad. First the above clip:

Ben can certainly come across as very sincere and caring and can and has shown what seem to me as real emotions. But not, IMO, in this clip. This is so scripted and delivered without any real emotions I found myself looking for a TelePrompTer. As has been posted in the last - it's mechanical. Both on Ben's part and also on JoJo's part. Neither should quit their day job to become actors.

So we have 3 ILY and IMO only one that can be pretty tightly nailed down as to who he said it to and that's the one in the preview where he said "I've known I'm in love with you for a while as well" and it's the wisps of blond hair in the frame that gives it away that he says the to Lauren. As to the other two I can't be sure. But I do believe that the likely ending storyboard makes no sense unless one of them is to JoJo so either one is actually said to JoJo or it's going to be made to look like it's said to JoJo because otherwise they've got nothing.

The phone call at the end is one both Sophie and I voice matched to another phone call Ben made and I believe it matches Ben's mother's voice and I think he makes that call just before he proposes to tell his Mom he's going to propose.

Up thread was a quote from Ben's blog where Ben (or someone writing for Ben) said that he believed if JoJo's brothers watched the show they would know how serious he was about JoJo. IMO that's about the stupidest thing anyone has ever put in a blog. Seriously? The last episode had Ben telling Lauren's father that when he met Lauren the world stopped. And shedding a tear when Lauren's sister asked him what was special about Lauren. That's supposed to show JoJo's brothers how serious Ben is about JoJo???? IMO all it really shows is that her brothers were totally justified in being skeptical (although boorishly antagonistic in how they approached expressing their skepticism).

And as far as JoJo and Ben being a good match .... if Ben's mother cried over the thought of Ben picking Emily I can just imagine Thanksgiving dinner with Ben and his family and JoJo and her family - complete with brothers and Mama's wine glasses. And JoJo's ex. I don't think these two families are well matched and I think family is very important to Ben.

LOL wonder what they are going to say watching Benny and Jo kissing and his green shorts start to shift . Yep Bros...that much! Just sad if Ben lost count . Now that's the stupidest thing to me imo!

I get where you're going, but I just don't think that Caila can carry a show. There have been F2's that have gotten the lead.....why not JoJo? I think she would make an amazing Ette! She's beautiful, funny, smart, charasmatic, sexy....she's tv gold , in my opinion. I have grown to like her more and sympathize with her struggles more, thru the conflict of her family. I guess the question is, is there time enough for her to "mend her broken heart and be ready for love" by the time they make the announcement for next season?

Ben gave a tour of where he's staying . The furniture material kinda matched. I'm not saying he brought someone over to his place but his bed and couch seemed similar. Jmo.

I WISH Caila was the one Ben said ILY to. Honestly I think there is no way what so ever this could be the case. Even in the latest clip AbC has out on caila's and bens date their relationship hasn't advanced, in that short clip it felt awkward and Ben noticed too. I don't see them being compatible and Abc has been hyping these 2 IlY's so much it just has to be F1 and f2...to me it's a done deal Caila is F3 I will crap on myself if she wasn't. Ben hints in his recent blog that this next elimination the girl doesn't take it wellI can very well see how Caila doesn't take it well given she's all emotional on all the recent episodes when discussing her feelings (lOVE) for ben.

Episode 9:

I don't know if this is editing or not but in the latest promo clip did you guys catch Caila saying (Im paraphrasing): 'Ben can't tell me that he's in love with me' It was definitely her voice but I don't know how much that was chopped up.

I think it's so messed up they show the dates in different orders than being filmed that really bugs me...showing jojos last is definitely going to leave an impression on everyone watching especially if that heartfelt "I LOVE YOU" was for her...my gut tells me it was, it would make sense- CH ...Mike...AbC..all hyping the 2 IlY's and they do hint it was emotional and spur of the moment for one at least.

That robotic IlY from ben though...I wonder in what context he was saying it in...

& just throwing it out there I still don't see ben loving jojo (lots of passion yes but that will fade in a relationship if it's only that)so I will have to see that this next episode or else I won't believe him when he says he fell for 2 women
