The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 9 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I love Jojo and lauren but i like lauren and ben. Cant wait when lauren tells ben shes in love with him for the first time, we didnt get to see it in the promos bETTER BE AMAZING

Regardless of whether he was tipsy or not, he later tells the same thing to his parents, who he is very close to..that he loves both women.  It doesn't come across in the typical manufactured TB way either, i.e. where they give the plus and minuses of each candidate as filler. He sounds genuinely confused.

I may be wrong, of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if we never actually saw this latest clip of him saying "I love you" (to whomever it is) in the actual upcoming episodes. They love to throw things into promos to throw us all off and then never actually show half of the things they tease with. If it is to Lauren, IMO, we won't actually see it happen because that would be two heartfelt I love yous (and possibly a third, though less heartfelt, one if the outdoor one is to her, which we believe is).

I kind of think it is from a LCD (instead of FD) with one of the F2 girls and, again, I wouldn't be surprised if we never actually see it air. If it is said to JoJo, it'll definitely air. If to Lauren, I don't think it will.

Okay one more scenario to throw out there. Ben and Lauren both say I love you in her Fantasy Suite and it's the "I've know for awhile" one and they wake up the next morning and Lauren thinks the show is over. He's told her he loves her, has for awhile, when he's not supposed to so she thinks he'll propose today send everyone else home and we're done. BUT Ben says "I do love you" but I need to see this thing out to the end. I need to have a talk with my parents and have you and Jojo meet them and I need to go on one last date with Jojo. Now, WHAT Lauren would say to that, I have no idea. This isn't even my opinion this is just my made up fantasy world at this point.

Tell Ben they love him in a somewhat matter of fact manner .. Both sitting across from him .. Whereas Lauren tells him when they are snuggled on the couch .. Just an observation

Just another thought . If Lauren got the best rooms/suites, then Ben would know it too. The question would be why ? All things are not equal in that dept. His stress is he left no wiggle room to wiggle out of. Oh the horror!

im pretty sure that wasnt her break through moment when she says it for the first time

And I think that's why Fleiss has been hyping up this season and saying it's his favorite since Jason Mesnick. He had a lead in Ben that was so emotionally wrecked that it made a great last couple of episodes. I have no doubt he picks Lauren, but like you said, at the time when all of this was being filmed, he seemed genuine with his words and looked genuinely sad and confused.

ALL YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING SLEUTHS!!! But I can't help but really just scratch my head. In the end, we're the ones who get played! UGH!

Ben looks so stressed in this whole Jamaica episode. His hair is all messed up. And just look at his bad shirt color choices. He doesn't look very happy and appealing. Like I want to give him a bath. I also feel like Lauren and Ben look mad or somewhat distant to each other in this new clip released! I don't like what I'm feeling AT ALL. That first I love you (with tears in his eyes) better be to Lauren or I'm going to lose my marbles!!

I believe I have a match: the thing to the right of Ben's head is that jar on the nightstand.
There is a candle in it that gives off a glow. If you blow up the jar the pattern seems to be an exact match. Ben's head must be on a pillow. In viewing the video there seems to be a small amount of color on one side of the pillow: maybe the backside of one of the pillows that is on the bed?

uhm, I don't think it's the jar, the diamond surface behind him looks wider

I'm also having trouble seeing what you are seeing? Even if that is the vase, I'm having trouble seeing how the angles would match up.
