Absolutely. That's how I've been seeing it too. The only thing that gives me pause is all of you ladies that know more about this show seem to be adamant that it has to be Lauren B. I didn't watch Sean's season, but I was reading the old threads and from what I gathered, it looked like FD week kicked things into high gear for them as a couple and like Jojo there was some family issues and Catherine was the last to get the rose at the F4/F3 Rose Ceremony. Sorry if I'm completely off as I haven't watched that season. Was there a front runner that season? Was the season spoiled? I feel like what Jojo and Ben have is real and it's been building up slowly but surely. I can relate more to that.

I love that the ante has been upped this season! If there were no doubt injected into the season that the spoiler could be wrong, it could be really boring.

The last few episodes of every season are my fave simply because the show does a good job of creating confusion. It's really fun to see everyone lay out their rationale for a specific ending; sleuthing can never die

I think tomorrows episode will add more confusion .. And widen the gap of who F1 is...

This is getting so interesting !
I am not sold on Lauren F1 either and I see Ben being more and more into Jojo. Big time. With Jojo being told ILY, it could change everything.
I am trying, with an open mind, to not let the spoiler interfere, and "see" which one will be F1.

Yes, Sean season was spoiled. Unlike Lauren this season, Cat was not shown too much at the beginning and had a late first date... I believe it was episode 6. As a result, there was questions if she was indeed the one. We got lots of little hints post show that indicated that she was and even though their chemistry build over the course of the season there were many that still questioned the result...but that is always the case. The editors are good at their job and always create doubt.

Thank you Sprite. It looks like I missed out on a great season. Endearing couple with a baby on the way. I doesn't get better than that :cutesmile!:

It really was. I would recommend watching it if you can and there would be no stressing about who he would choose! In fact, in many ways it is similar to this season. A sincere lead who ended up picking a good bunch of ladies...well, perhaps excluding AshLee. Very little drama and Tiara and her eyebrow were that seasons Olivia and her mouth. I had no trouble seeing "it" between the two and it is the same again this season. Whether they will work out in the long run is yet to be determined, but I am more hopeful than I have been since Sean's season.

Very true. But IIRC Sean later said that he knew he wanted Catherine around and he didn't need a 1-1 with her to know that. But that doesn't mean that all leads would do it that way and Ben seems to have preferred to focus in on the one who, in his words on the HTD, made the world stop. Different strokes for different folks but IMO Ben wanted to explore if Lauren was really real and he did that by giving her a lot of key dates that showed her who he believes he really is.

IMO we need to remember one key conversation that to me is pivotal and that is the conversation between Ben and Lauren on their first 1-1 where Ben asks Lauren just what she is looking for. Her answer (paraphrased) is that she comes from a close-knit family and her father is a simple, nice and caring man and a great father, and she is looking for someone like that who can be the same father to her kids that her father was to her. So all the dates that Ben has had with Lauren have been tailored to show her that he is just that kind of man.

Everyone else is chasing Ben and has somehow managed to handicap themselves with baggage along the way - Caila with her confusing stories and admission that her big fear is that she won't be able to love Ben - JoJo with her antagonistic brothers and an ex who suddenly wants her back after breaking her heart. And while this is going on, Ben has been chasing Lauren and the only reason he doesn't know (yet) that he has actually caught her is that the producers have (somehow) stopped Lauren from telling Ben all the things that she's told viewers and her sister. Ben is Lauren's "my person" and he just doesn't know it yet.

Follow the feet - look to see who is chasing who ...
