Not sure. If you watch Ben,s time with Caila during the 3 on 1 date, Caila in her itm said her hometown is next week and she hopes it's as impactful as Ben showing them his community. To me she sounded she knew she was getting a hometown.

I got the impression they all knew who was getting a hometown date except Becca because they wanted her to be blindsided

That makes sense because after all, the families need to prepare . Otherwise they get blindsided

He can't be feeling too blindsided by JoJo's ex & bros though as she gets to at least the FD level with him.

I think his reference is about not just wanting a showmance . He wants a real relationship out of this, and if he chooses wrong, it can end up as that, a showmance . Blindsided could refer to picking the wrong person to me. But again, like Becca showed, no matter what, the girls can be blindsided as Ben is figuring things  out . So even if he says he won't like he did to Jojo, that was weeks before and things can change as he gets closer to making his decision. Mo

FFT, sometimes this show is edited in a way that is pointing to how the lead/F1 may be doing in real time, today. Didn't watch Brad 2.0, but many suggested that even though Emily was F1, the edit did make hints at a little ripple in the smooth tide post-show.
I'm not saying it's the case here, but it's interesting to me that they left that comment in there.
People think that JoJo's blindside comment is significant, so it's possible Ben's could be, too. imo

I believe that all the f6 would have been given the heads up for a HTD... because crazy things happen. As I recall, at the time of filming, Becca's camp thought, for certain, that she was going to have a HTD. IMO, tptb did not do all the prep with Emily's family that you'd might expect (because IMO she wasn't going to bring Ben home (again)), but since Becca's family would know the difference between preparing or going through the motions, tptb did a full HTD prep with them- and she just might have gotten one if one of the other women "blew" it in Warsaw.

When I did the edit I removed what they had spliced in as I heard it also - I only included what we can both see and hear Ben say because IMO that's all we can be certain is real and in context.

The "blindside" reference has been used IIRC 3 times - JoJo to Ben, Becca to Ben, and Ben to Lauren. IMO I don't think that anyone get's blindsided and that's the solution to the "riddle" of blindside.

Becca knew that she had received nothing from Ben and no validation that he felt things for her - thus being sent home was no surprise because the handwriting was on the wall for her to read. JoJo will not be blindsided, IMO, because she was never expecting to be F1. I think she was just playing a role scripted by the producers to create drama in an otherwise drama free sprint to the finish (after Olivia was sent home).

Why would JoJo be picked for that role? Well, first of all - who else is there. Amanda - too sweet and a single Mom - hard to make her F2 and keep her away from her daughters. Caila - totally muffed what ever scripting they gave her to the point that Ben was confused and IMO 7,999,995 out of 8,000,000 viewers were confused. Not a bad thing about Caila - just "don't quit your day job to go into an acting career." Lauren - IMO she's the F1 and doesn't have to act - just be natural. That leaves JoJo - reality TV royalty, been on Ready For Love with her half brother Ben Patton and has already acted before. That some people see her as fake and at least the HTD looks quite contrived (and also faked) just means she isn't that great of an actress, but IMO she's still acting. But she's the best they have for that role.

And Ben. Ben's fear of being blindsided was, IMO, that he would pick a girl expecting that she was nice and sweet, would fit into his family, and return the love he wants to give. Leah's lies concerned him because it looked like Lauren could blindside him. He put those fears aside after their last 1-1 and told her he had.

Appears Jojo is in the sister property Sandals Ochi, I couldn't find a match to the curtains but this seems to be an exact match. Still not sure the wooden trim is the same but this location has more white than the Royal Plantation.

Lauren,on the other hand, is in the Love Nest at $2000 or so a night. It appears to be an exact match

Isn't it amazing that they used to get crap for being the youngest group of ladies in Bachelor ever? But if you think about it, they're also the most friendly with each other. This is new gen FEMINISM. The girls from Juan Pablo's season were close because they share hatred for him. The girls from Ben's season are close, because they are friends offcam and genuinely like and respect each other.

According to RS it is taping this weekend. Unless one of our members goes...and it has happened in the past...RS will usually tweet if anything really good happens or cover it in his next column.

What is unbelievable is JoJo showing up wearing a unicorn head and then had an ex boyfriend reach out to her and a terrible HTD and continue on to be F1. Now that would be a first and tptb would not have to manufacture all this I love you drama.

The real first is she came wearing a unicorn head and left wearing one of a jackass.
