Curious, Have TPTB ever messed with lighting/tone in the previews to throw off? I don't recall. I think there might've been talk of it during Jason's season? I know they messed with the color of the FRC dresses that time...

I seem to remember one season - but not which season - they did something to remove some shadows in one the images but I also remember figuring out what they did because while they removed shadows of the subject (F1) there were shadows of trees in the background that they couldn't remove so it was still possible to tell which image was last by the angle of the sunlight and the length of the shadows.

I also seem to remember one time where they messed with file names on some of the images so the normal image timestamp analysis was erroneous. EXIF data can be used on some images regardless of file names, but it's gets stripped out of the image when posted on many websites, and you can also edit EXIF data of images with the right editor.

Time stamps and file names are created by the camera based on its internal clock. I could make an image look like it was taken in 1944 simply by setting my camera clock to that date and each camera has its own internal clock - and file numbering scheme. Sometimes more than one camera is used and they may have very different file names as well as dates.

IMO the most reliable analysis is the one which is most difficult to mess with and that's the light source and shadow or highlights it reveals - editing is, I suppose, still possible - but it would be very difficult and time consuming.

I don't know if this has been asked and answered so sorry in advance if it has but has the final 1 ever shown up first and been proposed to and the final 2 brought in second and broken up with? Obviously they would never show it that way during the actual episode. They changed up the last episode so I was just wondering.

Yes years ago, can't remember the season. But only because the F2 got sick on the way to the FRC. I don't see the, ever changing that up IMHO

It was Jesse Palmer's season.

Tara got sick on the way to the FRC. Jessica (I think that was her name) arrived first and didn't Jesse give her a plane ticket or something crazy to continue the relationship, but didn't propose. Tara finally arrived and Jessica watched from a window inside. I can't recall all the details, but I remember thinking this is the strangest RC ever!

That was the worst. I can't imagine any reason they'd do that again. I don't even know why they did it the first time since it was in the evening.

I can't imagine them going to all the work of trying to change shadows/sun (which would be extremely difficult if not impossible) given they're trying to make us think that Ben switches from the f1 to the f2 in the previews.

Based on all the info that's been released.....Ben seems to have been flipping like a fish on a pier in the final days, hours, moments leading up to the FRC...F1 or F2 or F1 or F2 or F1 or F2 or F1........

I am really looking forward to seeing how he untangled himself in his highly emotional state and finally made his decision.  As close as he is to his parents..I think their opinions particularly his Moms are going to carry quite a bit of weight.  Anyway you slice it I truly believe he was extremely conflicted in deciding which one to choose.
My hearts go out to both women.  Because of the ILY's and assurances from Ben in those final days, I think both of them thought they would be the F1.  One will be devastated on the blindside and the other will be left struggling to deal with the fallout while the episodes air.  This is a finale that will be fascinating to watch.  It will be filled with sadness and happiness and just about every emotion in between.

As for the ATFR..... I will be interested to see that as well.

As a Ben/Lauren fan, I hope ILY-gate and JoJo's hurt (justified hurt) don't take over the ATFR like Nick did with Andi. JoJo deserves her time, obviously. But for me personally, I'm far more interested in seeing Ben and Lauren together.

in seeing how the past recent atfr have gone I'm sure we will hear more about ben and jojo and what happened with the i love you's then we will about ben and lauren. I remember last year we barely heard from shawn and kaitlyn and i was not happy.

^^ There is an article floating around out there in the media that his Mother basically chose his F1.
