The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - F1 to F4 - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - #2

Guess I get all my finale's mixed up.

I absolutely think F2 could be the next lead. I always thought the reason they usually aren't is because of timing not story. I'm sure it is timing since it starts pretty much right after the ATFR show. Earlier on the Bachelor had two shows a year but there was seldom a Bachelorette so it didn't really matter where the women placed then. Later there was just 1 Bachelor and a Bachelorette filming right after the finale like now and that's why it seems like they don't want a f2 woman as lead for the most part. I guess they could make concessions if they really want someone so Jojo is possible but all things being equal, it seems like a f3 or 4 has a better shot.

I'm not sure that the rainfall pic of Jojo is a FD pic, bronco. It seems like a LCD shot since they've done similar dates in the past. I haven't read a description of FDs yet so guess we'll have a better idea when they come out. I don't know that the one in the rainforest SC is Caila because it's so far away. It looks more like Jojo to me but am not sure. I just can't imagine that Caila makes the f2 since Lauren and Jojo seem like his top 2 right now.

I'm confused about this too. Was the rainforest in a description for an LCD somewhere and if so is the rainforest JoJo's SC jumping off a cliff or the raft where we're not sure which girl it is? TIA

The "rainforest" came up because Us weekly wrote that Ben said his next ilu to the second woman while on a date to a rainforest. I guess, we all assumed that would be Jojo, because of the waterfall scene. But now that you guys have brought it up, it could be possible that the girl on the raft is Jojo, despite the very black hair. I found the location of that date and the rafting, a popular attraction,  is a tour of a rainforest:

I think it's more likely Near Dunns River Falls .. Which is closer to the hotels

I think Ben and Lauren's date was confirmed to be somewhere called "Happy waters" or something like that.

The shape of the hair on the gal on the raft sure looks more like Caila

Thanks JC. Has the location of the waterfall been sleuthed? Could it be the same date as the raft ride?

Why do we think it's an LCD though? Just the timing for a second ilu?

Even though he's the bachelor it's been a very even playing field between the two right from the beginning which is what I've liked most. He's chasing her and winning her over as much as she is with him. He reassures her more than anyone we've seen this entire time. This equal footing, well thats what real lasting relationships are made of.

Wonderful, wonderful post! Re. Jo, their relationship may catch both of them off guard by the end of this season. From my vantage point, while, yes, I see chemistry between them, I think that their ease and naturalness stem from the mutual understanding of the point of their relationship: F2/F3 and maybe the possible lead. Because of her history with reality shows, I think that Jo knew her role: play along, but be yourself. Since both Ben and Jo "knew" that the end girl was most likely Lauren, I think that they both just relaxed around each other; when nothing is really on the line, people are just themselves. Little did either realize that acting from that space often cultivates a real bond. By the time Jo and Ben are at FSD and LCD, I think that they might both realize that they feel more for each other than they really expected to feel. So the letting go of this person that neither of them realized meant a lot to them will be hard. It's the whole, "I didn't realize just how important you were to me until I had to let go of you."

In the end, though, Ben just loves Lauren more, IMO. Re. the equal footing, I noticed that Ben emphasized to La last week that he really needed that talk on his couch. In my mind, Leah's comment messed with his head as much as it did Lauren's.

Bean, I'd be happy with any of Ben's girls.  I also, though, see them using the edit to set Jo up as the Bette. By leaving in all of her uncertainty, her guard being up, her issues with her ex, etc., I'm not convinced yet that she's in love with Ben. If she ever falls, it'll be so close to the end, it'll be too late, IMO. They are also possibly leaving in JoJo's comments about Lauren as another way to craft the narrative that JoJo moved on from Ben even despite "the blindsiding heartbreak:" In the last four months, she came to terms with what she knew all along: Ben was in love with Lauren. We'll see what happens! Watch: We'll all be blindsided if Ben decides to switch up after FSD!  

I think that she's F2, but are we sure she isn't F3?
