I have read a couple of Elizabeth Hoyt's. Her current series is hit and miss with me. The last one looks good may pick that one up. The same author who wrote the Wallflower series, Lisa Kleypas, also wrote a couple of contemporaries. "smooth Talking Stranger" and "Blue Eyed Devil" were excellent, imo for anyone who has not read them.
I loved Lisa's Texas series. I think there was another sibling she can write about but I guess she moved on to another series. My favorite author now is Samantha Young who wrote "On Dublin Street" and the upcoming "Down London Road". They are contemporaries set in Scotland.
I have never read any of her writings. I will have to check them out. Yeah, I was very disappointed Lisa decided not to write about the last brother in the Texas series.

I loved jack in that series. Would love tocatch up with that amily but I guess she moved on.
I'm now reading "The History of Love" by Nicole Krauss. I love this line from it.
“Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.”

I get ideas on what to read from http://likesbooks.com/cgi-bin/newreviews.pl and Goodreads
Have you read Julie Garwood? She has some very good historicals and her contemps are pretty good too.
I like Julie James or light and funny and Karen Rose for romantic suspense.
If you like the Young Adult genre I really liked the Delirium series by Lauren Oliver.

Re: Books - Discussion
An interesting book I would recommend is Because, We Are: A Novel of Haiti. It's a mystery set in Haiti with two young children solving the mystery. Benefits of the book go to Haiti. It's a bit long, but I really recommend it! I got it on Kindle for free, but that has run out and I think it's only free now for Prime Members.
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Two books I read recently, Theresa Caputo, There's More to Life than This. What a great book if you're into The Long Island Medium.
The second book is Prison Without Bars, by Graham Swann. It's a book about his life which was horrid, and how he changed it by finding God. It's very inspiring.

Any of you forum friends read Romance novels? If so, what are you reading now or what have read lately? I like historical romance and am currently reading The Last Hellion by Loretta Chase. I enjoyed reading The Lord of Scoundrels that she wrote, so I thought I'd give this one a try too.

I used to years ago, read Romance novels. For some reason I switched to true crime and James Patterson/John Grisham/Harlan Coben.
Let us know how you make out with The Last Hellion.

I sometimes read mysteries. I don't know if this counts, but I read Gone Girl and really liked it. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie when it hits Netflix. I hear there is a totally nude shot of Ben Affleck!

I love to read--and do so often--my favorites are Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I love mysteries, horror, cozies and non-fiction best. It is rare that I will pick up a book and not finish it.
