Still Nick gets the hate, Kaitlyn is shamed ... and Shawn is a poor, innocent guy in this story.

Is the bolded a known fact? I didn't hear that said but I was only half watching with the soccer game on.

The bolded is speculation on this board by some and based on an article (I think Radar online). I am curiously awaiting for Kaitlyn to elaborate as to what she did with Shawn in the 6-7 hours she spent off camera with him.

I love Shawn and don't fault his reaction. Obviously he can't handle the feelings here, I wouldn't be able to either. TBH, I wish Kaitlyn would pick Nick or no one. Shawn deserves better than having his friends and family see his relationship start out like this.

Kaitlyn is an adult, and owns her feelings and desires. She pursued sex with Nick, and while he was willing, it was HER idea.

Shawn is on a reality TV show, and can't expect it to be all about him. If that is what he wanted, he should have never signed up for this show. That jealous, possessive side of him actually turned me off tonight.

I didn't hear Nick say that he had sex with Kaitlyn either.

I only heard him say he talked with her. (oh yes, there were voices/noise coming from the room - but that isn't telling)

I also heard Shawn say that he talked with Kaitlyn in those private 6 hours laying on the bed.

So that's my conclusion. Or they both talked ... or they both "deed" it.

Only the media, mags, TPTB scoop/spoilers keep repeating the story that Kaitlyn had sex with Nick.
And the only "confirmation" he ever actually said/write was with the tweet that he hasn't kissed&told.

Nope. Not alone. If he didn't look like the lead actor in the quintessential romantic move The Notebook who knows how attractive he would look? He is a dime a dozen imho with a good body from being a personal trainer.

Yeah different strokes indeed giggling

I don't really profile these guys on how attractive they are to me though but how they appear to mesh with the lead based on what we are shown anyways.

I think every lead has to try to pretend that relationships on TB are not happening simultaneously. They have to suspend disbelief and convince themselves, for the moment, that the one in front of them is the only one currently in their lives. If Kaitlyn got lost in the magic of the moment with Nick, I think that's perfectly reasonable. And I'm not even a Nick fan. I understand how hard that might be on the other men, but I don't think that's Kaitlyn's fault. The show is what it is.

For anyone who believes that sex without marriage, or at least the commitment to marry, is wrong, then people like Kaitlyn will always be a challenge. But for those who don't hold with that taboo about sex, Kaitlyn is perfectly in sync with the concept of this show. JMHO

She had regrets, tptb was editing it to say she didn't, notice it was in a voiceover but the other part was not but a pi about hurting the other guys( specific Shawn)
