Nick Viall - Bachelorette 11 - *Spoilers - Sleuthing* - Discussion #4

It is interesting how Nick seems to be supporting Kaitlyn post-show as he did pre-show.

Kaitlyn said she leaned on Nick prior to going on the show... as a confidant and then when he was in NYC she asked him if he was going to stay and he said it is her decision...

I keep going back to her interview when she was in NYC she said she learnt from CS's season that she wants a life partner who “can bring out my softer side.” From the little that was shown with Nick and Kaitlyn in the last episode, Nick brought out Kaitlyn's softer side. She's very feminine with him and lets Nick lead, imo.

I cannot think, with all this, and leaning on him a bit, that Kait didn't have a very difficult time with letting Nick pick out a ring and propose to her if that's what happened. In a way, that's a step further than last season. Last season was about "why do fiance stuff" this season is about "why let me propose". It will be an interesting ATFR either way if that is the case.

Unless the two have privately processed some of this already. In the past, rejected men have tried to contact the main and were not allowed to because the main chose this. 
It could be these two have chosen to process things before the ATFR.

Very true, Kasha. That makes so much sense considering how Nick is being supportive in his own way even now.
I don't see any negativity at all ATFR from him or her. But I am sure that CH aka CM will be prodding the guinea pigs with that line of questioning. If only Kimmel could be there to bring out another cow for CM to prod instead.
The more I watch the more I realize that CM is not a nice person. At all.

Here let me pour you a glass of wine, before I say sorry you are just finding out that CH is in it for the money and will say anything to get the hype going.

Recent Bachelorettes don't allow their F2 to propose (I'm thinking Ali & Andi, who else?) Ashley did bc they told her Ben F needed to for his Bachelor storyline. And he was the Bachelor. I think even Jillian got Reid off his knee quickly (and that was a surprise for her) and did Kipytn propose? I can't remember the details of Deanna, Meredith, etc.

So, I agree that if Kaitlyn allows Nick to propose and reject him that is LOW. Unless she was given some reason from producers that this would help him in some way.

In all I'm leaning towards Kaitlyn is immature and naive. Doesn't mean I don't like her! But obvi I don't know her so….

^^ Oh CH certainly is and always has been, I guess it just comes with how this show has become drama-drama more so as each year goes by and so it is more noticeable just how self-absorbed he is.

Speaking of JK, right after I read CH's blog, the part about Nick just so happen to be in NYC and they were filming, so they decided to let him come on the show

ETA: I guess I am just glad that, even if Kaitlyn is single, she still has Nick supporting her in the way he is.
Nick supported her before the show, during, and after.
If he proposed and was rejected and yet still supporting her that, to me, is a sign of a true friend and person who wants the best for another, and puts another's feelings/happiness ahead of their own.
Selfless love. Kind of amazing when I think about it.

Sorry everyone...late to the discussion...but why exactly do we think that Nick and Kaitlyn aren't engaged?....because of RS? is that it?
